Mushroom season 2005/2006

Okie dokie, well Im very pleased to say that after many hours searching I finally found some P subs in a park no less than 200 metres from my house.

I picked about 60 grams of fresh shrooms, carefully cutting them at their base so as not to disturb the roots below. Unfortunately a couple were uprooted but whats done is done.
Anyhow since I've never tripped on mushrooms before and hear that P subs are quite potent, what is the dosage of fresh p subs that I should start off with?

And, how long will it take for the mushrooms to grow back? A couple of weeks? or wont I see them again until next year? I noticed a few more around the patch I picked so I'm going to go back later this afternoon and get them.
 
College_dropout, subs dont take that long to re-pin in my experience. Everytime you go to your patch only pick the mature ones and leave the pins to grow and establish a wider mycelia network.

As for dosage, if you have never tripped before i would prob suggest 1.5-2.5 dry grams depending on how hard you wanna go. I usually do 3.5g+ but i can see it being very full on if you have never experimented with psychadelics before.
 
had a little find the other day, nice and close to home too. ill definately be going back again. went out yesterday with a mate and found a nice spot but didnt find any subs, plenty of amanitas thou (they love birch trees huh). looks like we are getting some rain down here in the next few days, woo.
 
holy fucking god, i had no idea mushrooms could be this good. this is insane, i finally understand what the hippies were trying to say
 
in W.A. they get over picked. plus there is some spray they put everywhere in forests and such to kill fungus. bastards! the cops are all over it. fuckers

I've gone on a couple of successful picks in melb... Oh boy I love the silly season, I had a hyperdimensional insectoid conduct a weird surgical procedure on me then proceeded to have his way with me. Seriously, you haven't lived life until you've been ravished by an insect! 8o
 
Remember asking for a Mushroom spot is asking for a source. Don't ask how to find them, what to do with them etc either its all been covered before and Bluelight isn't the place to learn about it there is much better resources.

Asking for people to contact you on Bluelight is against the guidelines.

If there is more rules broken in this thread it will be closed.
 
my usual spots are looking v tasty, came across three patches of about 400 today on a brief walk :) inner & east subs melbourne

any melbournites wanna collaborate on a mission? :)

Very excited to report that after looking a little harder around the patch where I first found 20 mature P subs I found an even bigger patch of 300. I can't believe it's so close to my house as well. Every day since Saturday I've been wandering down and picking more of the mature ones. So far I've gathered at least 200.
 
some confirmed success around auckland on a couple of occaisions...no hunting luck myself yet though
 
Found 17 in a 20 minute hunt around my area this afternoon, its shaping up to be a good season indeed. Eastern suburbs.

lol also saw some fellow shroomers hunting through someones front yard today, to many people along that street for my liking.
 
I've had great success with a particular chain of malls in the eastern suburbs of melb, found them at three different locations. they must all source their tan-bark from the same supplier =D
 
Fucking PISSED off!!!!!!!!! Went down to my beloved patch tonight and some of the dickhead dogs that roam free around the park have ripped up a fair portion of it.............grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

So, if anyone else saw the episode of Brainiac where they concluded that dogs can't stand smelling citric acid, I am going to the supermarket tonight, picking up a few bottles of lemon juice and drenching the area surrounding my patch in it.


Btw, has anyone ever been stopped and questioned as to what it is they were doing rummaging around in a park garden?
Because I can't be fucked searching for shrooms in the dark I just go in the afternoon when I get home from work and there are STACKS of people walking and jogging. So many people look at me and give me the weirdest looks. But I don't pay any attention to them and just concentrate on getting as good a haul as I can possibly get.
