movies that change your opinion of certain actors

^lol! Oh, and after watching Mrs Doubtfire (for the nth time on dvd) and One Hour Photo back to back...i never quite looked at Robin Williams the same way again (as well as the local Kodak boy!) too. I saw About Last Night again.....and i just realized what a good actress Elizabeth Perkins can be...damn i wanted to slit her characters bitchy throat all over again! And then i remember her in HeSaid/SheSaid ,
and its all gone. Love those moments !

i've never really watched much of elizabeth taylor's stuff, but i was really surprised by her performance in whose afraid of virginia woolf? didn't think it was as brilliant as others do, but she was definitely very good.
 
okay im going to backtrack. I just saw the VCD of Firestarter again (last time i watched it was when it came out in 1984!!!) and i thought that Drew Barrymore was a terrific child actress ...very memorable and precociously intelligent. Im surprised she didnt win an oscar on top of all her other minor acting awards for other projects. I havent seen a child actor who registers that much emotion on the screen (well, maybe that kid from sixth sense but all he registers is that "i see dead people" look. lol)
On another note,watching a younger David Keith (who plays her dad) in the movie just completely turns me on .

I always felt a bit sorry for her and found some enjoyment in how terrible she was.
