trainspotting has the brilliant scene of spud going to a job interview tweaked out if you're into that

^ Try reading the thread before yelling "how come no one mentioned spun?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! dudz?!" when it has been mentioned already.

Hah, I'm not mad. I just needed a reason to use many exclamation and question marks, and acting angry is the best way to do it.

Mushrooms & Movies...

Hello Blers

It's been a while since I've been here. I know that many tonight will be out welcoming the new year in. Me and my fiancee are just going to lounge at home and eat some shrooms. We are curious what are "interesting" movies to watch on shrooms? A friend of mine mentioned A Scanner Darkly. I've never seen it but the trailers looked kinda cool. Basically I'm just looking for some suggestions. Any input is appreciated :)

I recently watched a Scanner Darkly both when on a 3.1g mushroom trip and a 3.7g trip. On the first trip the movie was hardly enhanced and I just felt a bit cross-eyed. nThe second time I became more absorbed in the movie and the colors and effects stood out much more than normal.
Personally I'd reccomend 4g+ of shrooms for movie watching. Once you start going into those higher levels you should get totally absorbed in the movie and have some visuals going on within the film.

Higher dose shroom trips can be fun and immersive, but also more difficult to deal with if they turn bad. Take an amount you feel comfortable with based on your past experience with mushrooms, and be conscious of how the movie is affecting you. A Scanner Darkly is brilliant, but it's also pretty dark and I could see it feeding negative/paranoid thought loops if you start to fall into a bad trip. Obviously, if you notice this happening, you should stop watching the movie.

Happy New Years, enjoy and let us know how it goes :)

I find that if you're having difficulty with a high dose trip just take a small dose of your favorite benzo and you'll relax and quit worrying about it. My last trip had quite a few moments where the walls were bleeding, I had a third eye in the center of my head, and when I looked at anyone in the corner of my eye their heads would do that same weird thing they did in the movie Jacobs Ladder where it wuld buzz all over the place really bad. It seems really hard to have a bad trip on shrooms considering the calmness that overcomes you, but ymmv.
Personally I can imagine seeing any of the most horrific images my mind could muster on shrooms and not be the least bit bothered by it, which for me differs from all the other psychedelics I've tried.
