Movies and Drugs[MEGA MERGED]

I can never really follow a movie...so, I like stuff that is just kind of ambient or atmospheric, if you will...mostly I will play music over it, anyway.

Modulations (with sound) is fucking amazing. It's a documentary on electronic music....lots of sick ass jams...theories on music, life, society...great visual effects...the list goes on. It's very well done, very fluid, and tripped teh fuck out.

Fantastic Planet (without sound) is a very trippy animated movie from the 70s. I have no idea what it's about, to be honest...but it's fun to add your own soundtrack and zone out to the crazy aliens that meditate and own pet humans.

Jam (with sound) is a fantastic TV series by Chris Morris. It's dark sketch comedy with an ambient style of flow. Waving and twisting into itself with ridiculous scenes and twisted humor. It's awesome.

...dude, do whatever the fuck you want to while on acid. What really matters is what's going on inside your head.

"I used to love tripping, man. There's always this one guy when you're tripping who wants you to do something to enhance the trip. You know what I'm talking about."

Your favorite music movie, whether it be a live show or something like yellow submarine or the wall. My favorite thing to watch while on acid is this buckethead dvd ive got. Fuckin unreal. A KFC bucket? WTF!!!!!!!

But in all seriousness, the outside world, especially forested areas, is the best place to be while on acid. Bring some good tunes, some pot and food, good beer...and please...do be careful :D have fun man.

Koyaanisqatsi (purely music and visuals. Intense!)
Waking life (if you want to think a lot)
What the bleep do? (also very thought provoking)
The machinist (creepy)
Any purely animated video is always fun

I never watch comedies cause i never laugh on psychedelics

Definitely Spirited Away. I dont feel like reading back through this thread, but I'm sure it's been mentioned before.

This has prolly already been said, but fear and loathing has always been really cool to me on shrooms. But with acid hell, anything is fun man.

Apocalypse now Re-Dux

That movies fuckin intense and on some droogs... itd be intense

My buddy and I saw A Scanner Darkly in an empty theater on shrooms. Was absolutely amazing, but really got into my head for awhile.

We were able to follow the story pretty well, I got sucked into the characters paranoid conspiracy theory rants even though you are supposed to be able to tell what is really going on versus what they are all suspecting, but that made it better, as I didn't see the ending coming.

See it even if you don't want to watch it tripping, great movie, especially if you are into tripping/drug related movies.

P.s. Sorry if this post is written terribly, way too tired
