Movies and Drugs[MEGA MERGED]

Someone mentioned anime, and I think Cowboy Bebop is really fun when you're noddin in either Japanese or English. As for Requiem for a Dream, watching that makes me fiend like a bitch for opiates. I love watching it when im high on opiates though.

I think the question is what ISN'T amazing on opiates.
 
Irrelevant. How does it matter if you are on the nod as your driffing off and can't pay attention. After wasting so much cash in the past seeing movies stoned I've decided not to waste my time. Heroin and a movie you want to see are a bad combo.
 
The Life Aquatic is dark humor in a league all of its own. Wes Anderson is unique in that style, he also made Bottle Rocket, The Royal Tennenbaums, Rushmore(yeah it was awesome but not better then TLA IMO).

twominds: it is relevant imo because certain movies are totally uncondusive to watch on the nod. TLA has a certain energy and flow that allows for viewing in patches yet still retains it's quality because of how each scene is constructed. It's a comfortable melancholy warm movie I think adds to the warm opiate intoxication. In that some people might think it's boring, what better way to be while nodding in and out. imo, the movie is very unintrusive, that's exactly what I want while in nod mode.
 
^^^ If I am in a opiate induced haze and are in a warm nod you could through on a Jennifer Lopez film and I'd have no recollection about what had just assulted the screen.....probably good I didn't know what was on. But sure a mild stoned is a different story.
 
I can be pretty high on opiates and still remember things. Benzo's and booze is a whole other story.
 
seriously, TLA better than rushmore. ok i like TLA more than anyone i know, i even saw it twice in the theatres, but only cuz thats my type of humor and because of that, I think Rushmore is way better

heh, never gotten my hands on heroin or enough low enough APAP hydrocodone to do the trick, but a Wes Anderson fan. anywaz
 
Tonight I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind while on oc, coke, and bacardi 151. What a fuckin' trip! I really want to watch that movie on shrooms, it'll fuck with my head.

Hopefully it will be nothing like watching the Butterfly Effect on acid and DXM...not fun. :( "So, should I suck your dick now, or should I suck your dick later." It fucked with my head so bad that I actually started doing the time travel thing. The room would start shaking violently and then I would see evil images of weird shit. Very dark and gloomy, lots of blood and guts and shit. Never, will I ever, watch dark movies again while tripping. :(

Back when I wasn't on probation and could smoke pot, I would like to do a couple of OC 80's and smoke a few blunts while watching The Beach or Traffic. Pretty good movies to nod off to.

I like to try to watch Adult Swim or any car videos, like Top Gear... but then again I've been known to nod out very hard to the PREVIEW CHANNEL for hours upon hours.

LOL one time we were passing around hits of crack, and animal planet was on. I take a huge blast, im sittin like weeeeeeeee, then all the sudden i look at the tv...

and theres a koala baby bear getting its digestive enzymes from mommy.

they get them, by eating digested eycalyptus STRAIGHT FROM THEIR MOM'S ASSHOLE!

weed movie question

Hey all. A little while ago i saw a movie on commedy central about weed and i cant remember the name. It was about a couple people whos parents found a secret government weed grow field and left a treasure map to it. The people are trying to find the field. does anyone know what movie this is?
 
Here's the IMDB entry for the movie if you're interested. An interesting piece of trivia about the movie is that it was directed by Thomas Haden Church, who played Jack in the Oscar-winner Sideways.
 
This is off topic, but if you want to see a good weed movie, watch "100% Homegrown" It stars Hank Azaria, Billy Bob Thorton, Bon Jovi and Jamie Lee Curtis. All of which play potheads :) .
