I once had the experience of running into some perfectly straight gal, nice too, at some campus party.
She was in my chem class and wanted to talk about the last exam...I was flying on some killer windowpane I'd gotten and had to get my act together cause we were in a note sharing group together.

you should definitly make it a point to watch The Doors movie for part of the trip, I've only seen that movie once, and it was while I was on acid, and it was a very spiritual experience

i was tripping pretty good on shroom once and was watching a Star Trek episode... the one with this kid Charlie, who could make people just disappear if they pissed him off.

man that led into a hellacious mind fuck. to imagine that you could be just 'gone'. there were about 3 of us watching it and MAN it started us into a really bad head fuck of a trip.

so if you're tripping, thats one thing NOT to watch

oh yeah, and the absolutely most hilarious movie to watch while tripping is The Phantom with Billy Zane and Treet Williams. even sober that movie is hilarious :)
 
I forgot to mention, the forbidden zone!! Such a good movie to watch on any hallucinagenic drug. Has anyone seen it?
 
I watched Apocolypse Now while on mushrooms with friends. The crazyness builds so slowly in the movie that by the end you will feel like you are with them.

The older I get, the less I like that movie. The message of it, I mean; it's a masterpiece, filmwise.

It is not an anti war movie at all...quite the opposite.

And, it's a real perversion of "Heart of Darkness." I think Conrad would have hated it.

Holy shit, my second post. I feel like a veteran.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Mindwalk or Mind Game (similar titles, unrelated movies).

Mindwalk is probably the grandest mental masturbation movie ever made (Waking Life is entertainment, this is the real deal). For the philosopher in you.

Mind Game is THE trippiest anime I have ever seen, and I have yet to watch it on any substance (it's on my TODO list). It's gorgeous, out of control, and contains a bit of the ol philosophy as well. Same guy who did Cat Soup if I remember correctly.

Oh, and for the booby price check out Survive Style 5+. You can try reading the subs, but it isn't all that necessary. Quit the insane flick.

Gummo is one of the most rediculous movies i have ever seen in my life. Its so demented and fucked! The very first seen shows a pretty young kid drowning a cat so he can sell all the cats he kills to some dude that sells them to a chinese resturaunt. This movie is so fucked up. I couldnt imagine watching it on a psychedelic. Kids is a pretty fucked up movie too. This movie is completey fucked. Actually, im pretty sure you cant buy it anymore, its band!

Also, for those that mentioned apocolypse now/redux, Im right with you on that one. That is one hell of a movie to see the very first time you trip on LSD. Its a fantastic movie sober (personal top 3), but got LSD brings out every possible idea/though/emotion ever concieved by mankind. Its mind blowing(imo ofcourse)
 
The last time I tripped me and my friends were watching cartoon network really late at night, and they were playing a Perfect Hair Forever marathon. The entire series at once. OMFG, that was the longest mindfuck I have ever experienced. Me and everyone else in the room were completely baffled by this show. I highly recommend watching this, it makes absolutely no sense at all, even harder to follow than FLCL.
