most mind altering drug

Well, from what I've done untill now propably Salvia is the most 'mind altering' - it's the only drugs that ever made me forget who I was and what the reason was I was this f*cked up (prop not the right word)

from what i have heard and the experiences i've read, i would think Datura would be one of the top "mind-altering" drugs out there. The thought of looking in the mirror and thinking that my reflection is another person copying my movements would fit my description of a powerful, unpredictable drug. but i guess i'll have to try it myself to find out how truly mind-altering it can be...
 
Even though it is not a drug, asphixiation (sp?) is pretty damn mind altering. It is the most incredible thing. Here's a good way to do it: Crouch on the floor and lower your head, hyperventalate for about a minute, then stand up really fast and block your jugular while holding your breath. In about two or three seconds you will pass out. MAKE SURE SOMEONE IS THERE TO CATCH YOU! I didn't have anyone catch me and i fell on my desk, knocked my monitor on the floor, and I now have a big cut on my back and an eye hemorrage because my monitor fell on the back of my head and gave me a concussion. Be careful. It was fun however. I woke up what seemed like an hour later, according to the clock it was a few seconds, and I felt extremely drunk for about ten seconds. When I was out I was having the most amazing visuals (i guess you could call them dreams). I was screaming when I came to. I couldn't remember what had happend, for a second I seriously thought I had taken drugs and passed out while at my computer. After the fog cleared I realized that I had passed out and hurt myself. It was VERY disorienting but really fun. Be careful with this though.

Id say some real heavy pcp smoking, that shit can put you in different worlds.. some of the times ive been the most out of my goard has been on that stuff, heavy puffin on some fresh stix.... insanity

I'm going to second this. I've smoked a LOT of pcp and well...it by FAR fucks with you a lot more than dxm and lsd I believe. I've only tripped a few times (6-7) and done dxm a handfull (maybe 10). But, PCP is a very "dark" drug and deffinately sends you out there...to a cold, dark place. Although, a lot of the time, out here at least, when you're smoking "pcp"/"dust"/"dips" you could be smoking just about anything--i've had extremely varied effects.

Lets look at what determines the most mind altering drug:
If it were the most mind altering for the dosage then it would have to be LSD (i think) active in the mcg mark. And considerding that half a mg of LSD would FUCK you off your brain maybe that is the most powerful psychedelic.
However taking it another way the mind mind altering would be a situation whereby your perception is altered so powerfully that you BELIEVE that you are in another world, where you leave your body and yet are convinced by what you see. That leaves us with DMT, Salvia, and to some extent K.
It is one thing to say: I was mad fucked up on dxm and acid thought my couch was a hippo. But to be imersed in an entirely new enviroment that is authentic seems to be the sign of a truly powerful mind altering drug.
 
i'd have to vote for LSD...i mean, the shit is measured in MICROGRAMS.......

Hmmm...here are the canidates I can think of.
DMT
5-Meo-DMT
Salvorin A
Ketamine (IM)
Scopalamine (Datura)
These all do very different things, so they can't really be compared quantitatively.
Also note that I haven't done any of these, really. I had a couple threshold salvia experiences and intranasal ketamine. The farthest out I have been was LSD + Weed laced with [PCP??]. Total Level 5!!!

I would have to say DXM is a very big mind fuck. If your in for a good time and a very big mind alteration, go with 8 oz of cough syrup, smoke a couple bowls, and do a whippit. The universe pretty much leaves you.
 
well lets see with lsd,dxm ,K yu know that its the drug workin on ya nd you kow how fucked up you are ,so i would have to say that DATURA is the most mind altering i mean com'on you dont even know that your fucked and you could be talking to a fuckin bush(and understanding everything it says to you!! while you on it) if that isnt mind altering i dont know what is,plus just imagine it at a dose that isnt enough to kill you but almost,just imagine how mind altering that would be?? if its possible
 
hydro chronic is totally right. Theres just no comparison. On all other drugs, you're altered, but you realize something is different. Datura removes a persons ability to decern reality from fantasy. Its the end-all mind alteration.
 
5-meo-DMT gets my vote.
Anyone that has had a moderate dose of this will probably agree.
 
Most mind Altering drug, hmmm lets seeeeee.........Duatra gets my vote as well, but there is this one thing thats can be worse, certian tropical fish, have toxins in them that will fuck you beyond your own imagination.

i think this is subjective, and consequently everyone will have a different pick for the most 'mind altering drug' ...
for me, it's definately 5-meo-dmt.
i've had ketamine, salvia, dxm (up to 600mg) and acid as well. once i've had plain dmt, datura, psilocybin and mescaline, i'll confirm that.

I've done pretty much everything on the list (DMT,5meoDMT,DXM,Salvia,Datura,K,etc) and my vote goes to DMT and Datura. Salvia is a up there with DMT, but its just nowhere near as intense and it seems to be more grounded in "reality" so to speak, i.e. you belive you're somewhere you're not or believe to be something that you're not, but both things are based on real locations/items. With DMT, you are in a dimention you never even imagined before. You see and feel things that are COMPLETELY alien to you, things I can't possibly begin to explain.
As for datura, if you've ever done it, you know what I'm talking about. Full on delusions, I mean the thought "I'm fucked up" doesn't even hit your brain ONCE, even while you're standing there having a conversation with your long gone great grandmother or best friend who moved out to New York, sometimes even things like flowers and walls. It's something that conventional hallucinogens cant even TOUCH.
