IMO bluelight is fanging along just right at the moment. are we really in need of another forum???
if i need a hit of jabbersmoo i just head over to the main social forum. theres some champs in the states too, and some funny ass shit goes down in there.

The masses have spoken - I guess the idea of the new forum came about for the need to have a forum where all mindless chatter and non-rave/meetup related topics could be posted - leaving the other forum uncluttered. Many people expressed the desire to have a new forum for this particular purpose - but obviously we are divided on the issue. Anyhow, it is apparent that more discussion needs to take place before any chages are implemented - so discuss away!!!!

Maybe a big ass vote is in order where every bluelighter has to vote wether we hav another thread thing, and put forward their point of view.
My oppinion is to hav only 2 so that we dont have to hop around all the forumns.
Or we could have 3 forums if sumone decides to make a forum for Mona.

We need another forum.
Make it so that Meet ups only has meet ups so that the information can be easy to access and read. Put the bullshit (like this) elsewhere. Makes it easier.

ok i've changed the name of this forum slightly... just to fit better with the over all look of the board... but we have in no way changed what the forums are or what is expected to be posted where... get me?
i've also added the middle east to our region...well not really added, its always been part of asia and there's always been a few israeli peeps around here... i'm just putting it more explicitly in the title...
so do your best to make all the internationalists feel welcome, as well as continuing to support regional aussie Bluelighters.

I still think a separate social forum would be a good idea (I like the name plastikman, talking bollocks
)
This forum moves quite fast, and while the current meetups seem to stick near the top, a lot of other interesting reading gets lost because of the amount of bollocks
Once people get used to having 3 forums it'll be a pretty nice setup. And to the people who couldn't be bothered checking another forum... you'll just have to miss out ya lazy bastards!
And when it comes to picking a new Mod, just pick someone, no need to do the "vote/popularity contest" thing...

Keep it the same. I have enough trouble managing one messageboard and I don't want to miss out on the fun.
Exactly Finn. If you start up a new topic and it gets pushed to the second page then just bump it back up. If you see something that doesn't interest you then don't read it.
Personally I think that if we had another forum a lot of people would have trouble keeping up. People just have to remember to look on the second and third pages for threads that interest them.

pekkie, the only problem is, is that noone hardly ever checks the second and third pages. Can you honestly tell me you dont just have a quick skim and read the first 5 or 10 posts, add to them then piss off? Unless you have the time, its only the first few you read.

We certainly need another forum specifically dedicated to shit talking. It'll be shit talk heaven where you can't read anything without sitting back and thinking WTF. And it'll save those that don't enjoy dwelving into mindless chatter from reading some of the extremely funny verbal diahrea that spills out of some BLer's mouths.

well, it just sounds like you guys want a bullshit forum and its just not going to happen. There is already a forum like that (bluelight social) and simply no need for a seperate one for aussies.
Cmon, it would take 3 maybe 4 days tops to get to know everyone in that forum and then you can just let the bullshit flow
