whats the crash like on the drug
not generally a fan of word filters, but in this case I'd be in favour of a default forum filter to something more appropriate to replace the ROFLabomination, since it's such a shameful tactic and show by mixmag. kinda damaging and irresponsible of them imo
not sure if BL uses filtering, but filtering it to MXE Mket or Methoxetamine to make a stand on the issue might be helpful?
thoughts .. yay, nay, stfu?
whats the crash like on the drug
I know it's obvious not to do the above, but I'm stating the obvious anyway. Think I took between 150-250, with a 1/4 bottle of vodka on an empty stomach. not intentionally. i got drunk and then decided MXE would be a good idea.
is that in relation to my filtering question?Barberra Streisand effect anyone?
Who was the guy who came on here a while ago when there was a post about the Mixmag drug survery, he said he worked for the mixmag team, and im sure he was a regular Bluelight name, maybe he can shed some light, or someone dig up that old topic.
Hello,
I've read your article about the so called drug 'roflcoptr' which is supposed to be MXE. I have some experience with the the drug itself and the legal high scene in general but I've never, until now, heard of MXE being called roflcoptr.
I think that this article is a sort of hidden advertisement for one persons website that sells this drug.
I do not have any hard evidence for this but I have some clues though:
1) The original 'meme' is actually called 'roflcopter' not 'roflcoptr' (you can google this and find many examples easily). If you google 'roflcopr' on the other hand, the first result you get is a website called [sourcing] selling MXE under the name 'roflcoptr'. This is the only example of MXE being called roflcoptr and the only example of the word 'roflcoptr' where it wasn't a misspelling of 'roflcopter'
2) There's a website called who.is where you can look up information about websites such as the owner, date of registration etc, .. For the [soursinging] website this is:
Domain name:
[blabla sourcing]
Registrant:
Cope Russell
Registrant type:
UK Individual
Registrant's address:
The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their
address omitted from the WHOIS service.
Relevant dates:
Registered on: 26-Jul-2011
Renewal date: 26-Jul-2013
Last updated: 11-Jan-2012
3) On linkedid.com there were several Cope Russells. After this information appeared on a messageboard his profile is now deleted if you visit it: (also a little suspicious)
http://uk.linkedin.com/pub/russell-cope/31/60a/504
There is however a google cache-version still available to visit with all the in formation:
http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...ussell-cope/31/6a/50&cd=1&hl=nl&ct=clnk&gl=be
I've made printscreens and uploaded them to imageshack.us, here are the URLS

a) He explicitly states he has affiliation with Roflcoptr and mentions the company website.
b) he's had 2 jobs working with magazines, the lastest of which is with a music-magazine Artrocker magazine (such as mixmag) where he is likely to meet other journalists in the same field
Now I know this is hardly any damning evidence but it IS quite bizarre that an article about MXE, which has never been called that expect for one website suddenly is saturated with the term. I find this kind of shady advertising very irresponsible (if that actually is what it is)
eh?Apparently it is called that, but its nothing new......it's been around for a while now VICE wrote some stuff on it just after the others did: http://www.vice.com/en_uk/read/we-interviewed-the-man-who-invented-roflecoptr
I think that we can all agree that this article has hastened a ban on MXE.I know it doesn't really matter much since it's not illegal anyway
It's worse than douchy. It's downright fucking immoral. This stuff is not meph. You cannot hoover down grams of this stuff in a night and be fine. It is not an appropriate material for a teenager to have their first drug experience with. Setting up business selling it from a site deliberately designed to be operated from a smartphone (and therefore presumably without doing a whole lot of research first), then stirring up hype in the media, whilst giving the drug a name that is clearly meant to appeal to young people, in order to make a quick profit, is disgusting. People are going to buy half a gram of this stuff, rack it up into a couple of lines, hoof one down and get their minds warped. People might get hurt- some people are definitely going to have uncomfortable experiences. The media frenzy will snowball, and this drug will be banned. Many victims, only a few winners- the cynical cunts who have orchestrated this business.I'm not actually opposed to this guy selling MXE .. But the way he goes about it is so fucking douchy.

At the time of the Mixmag survey, I declined to participate, and this is exactly why. When you fill in one of their surveys, you just make the RC scene worse. I'll help a researcher at UCL, sure, but give these guys market research for free so that they can irresponsibly push powerful dissociatives, get people hurt and drugs I like banned? No thanks.
