Never thought I would post on this thread, preferring to bore my friends and real people

with my never ending tales of pain, self-afflicted or otherwise. But anyhoo....
In July, I bought a little rice mobile with money I did not have only to find out that the dickhead I bought it off had lied about its condition and covered up, with silicone, damages which would not normally be discovered even by a mechanic unless one were to specifically look for it. Yeah, let the buyer beware. Fine.
So there I went, spent more of the aforementioned cash to fix it up and was very pleased with the car and myself. The joys of a forced-induction vehicle is like drinking espresso after only having decaf all your life. Now, being a relatively careful driver after having been in a couple of accidents, I do not tailgate, race or hassle chicks on the footpath, turbo car or not. But as luck would have it, someone ran into my rear and pushed me into the car infront.
Having been the driver at fault in most of my past rear-end collisions (which I might add I have always borne full responsibility, paid for damages, apologised profusely, etc no questions asked), I thought "not again!". The lady that struck me seemed nice enough while the chap infront started yelling at me. So naturally, I was inclined to be nice to her and pissed off with the bloke infront for hitting the emergency brakes without thought. Mistake number 1.
Without admitting responsibility for running into him and knowing that my car was a write off from the rear, I offered to pay for the bloke's minor bumper damage thinking that the lady behind would be responsible enough to pay for mine. Her car was also a write off thanks to her lack of braking and a big fuck-off towbar
on my car. She did not need another person to hound her for payment. Mistake number 2.
While admittedly, the damage on the front of my car looked a shitload worse than that on the back visually, the last thing I expected was for her to turn around after 2 weeks, to tell the assessor that I ran into the car infront first and thus she only struck a wreck! Mr Assessor was also rather unprofessional, not only unable to do give a report immediately, decided that 2 days after he promised the report would be sent, he was interstate bound and could not be arsed to send it till a week later. At this stage, I got quite pissed off and told him what I thought. Mistake number 3.
He then FAXES the report to her a week later, CONFIRMING that I had indeed struck the car infront first based solely on the bitc...lady's account as well as conjuring damages that were not there. Now the bloke infront is after me for payment and I am going to get squat from the woman behind. Joy. So ahoy, aho, it's off to court we go.
See what I mean by boring? Of course there are even MORE details, like how I lost it and yelled at the biatch numerous times when she repeatedly rejected quotations from my panel beaters, refusing to believe that a 20 year old car can be worth more than a couple of hundred dollars.
Moral of the story? Always get insurance, always blame the fella behind and never call an assessor unprofessional even if he is

.
Gist of it is, I am fucking annoyed at how irresponsible people are, how quickly I lose it with fuckwits and in doing so screw myself over by making things worse than they already are. There, that is my rant. God please do not make this a habit....
