Methoxetamine Discussion Thread

hi guys, a friend recently gave me some mxe, fair amount for doses i guess, less than 400mg. he rknd he only had bout a matchstick head/lick off his finger of the powder and just felt 'weird' just totally weird, like he was detached from body and such, didn't like it at all and passed it all onto me..

I'm not to sure I want to try never done ketamine before. Not sure if I would really like MXE from what he told me it just seems strange, maybe comboing it with something i like would be awesome but dangerous... I just not too sure if I really want to try it. I've read erowid, made up 2 caps about 15mg, erowid instructed that 15 is prob the high end of a low dose of it. I'm just weary as my mate had fuck all and felt weird as, maybe it's just how the threshold is??

What would be a good way to take this stuff, orally or up nose? another friend also said it does not work orally? is this true? also got another wild story i dunno what to think but EU friend says, "dont take MXE orally, it will rot your insides" sounds pretty far fectched but what am i to believe as erowid suggest 2 ways to use it, orally and insuff- and what would be a good dose for a beginner, 15mg? as the person we got it off rkn'd 30mg
 
Plugging MXE tips?

Firstly Methoxetamine doesnt seem to be readily soluble in water,

1. do i need to just keep stirring with a toothpick until it does?

2. And do a use a cigarette filter as a cotton on the spoon to soak it up?

because im kinda woried i wont get everthing out of it with the syringe

3. do i need to use a lighter to help it dissolve? because when i did that it left some white crusting on the spoon...
 
I had the same issue with solubility, I found adding more water and heating it a bit helped. Seems to work out at 1ml per 20mg or so.

Not sure what you're asking about filters, not really necessary to filter if you're plugging.

I'm sorta the resident Plugging expert here. I've plugged MXE mulple times.

I dont usually bother with using a lighter to heat it up or so.

This is how i do it. Put the mxe u want to plug into a shotglass or so. Add about 5ml's of water. stir it a bit. It doesn't need to disolve into the water or so. Just stir it for 30second-1min. Then suck it up with the oral syringe.

Lub the oral syringe, and I mean lub it well :P

Then lub your ass. THen lay on your stomach on your bed or so
Then Insert the oral syringe into yoru ass. make sure the syringe is like mostly into your ass. about 2 knockles in or so. Then push the plunger in, wait about 1minute before you move from your laying postion.

And VOILA, that is how u plug mxe or any other substance ^^

With mxe plugged, it still takes a good 20-25mins to peak. You will get a first rush when you first push the plunger in. But the actual trip dont peak for at least another 20ish minutes.

If you dont have much of a k tolerance from back in the day, i'd suggest you do 30-40mg and work your way up ^^

IF you were once a K-head like I was, then go for 100mg or so :>

Mysterie do you mean plugging as in rectal administration or shooting (IV)...? I don't understand why you'd talk about filtering or heating your shit in a spoon unless you are talking about IV. For rectal administration these steps just aren't necessary, you don't even need the shit to dissolve, you just need it suspended in the water so you can shoot it up your clacker.

You can IM MXE, but I wouldn't IV any RC. Do as you will, though.
Plugging is a much more powerful ROA than sublingual or buccal, in case you were gonna do a big amount with your first dose.
 
^ aye, IM is reportedly a very good ROA for mxe though I'd recommend using a wheel filter to be safe. There's a greater risk of infection/abcess from an IM shot than an IV shot. Another BL'er I know tried it IV and said it was extremely intense, with some danger trying to remove the needle before hitting a full on M Hole. Plugging would be mush safer but less bank-for-your-buck ;)

Any objections to me merging this with the larger MXE thread?

I've IV'd it with no issues, though I was careful to use a micron filter. It didn't feel like there was much benefit compared to IM though, and since MXE feels rather caustic when snorted/IM'd I was wondering about the potential damage it might to do my veins and reverted to IM. There doesn't seem to be a real advantage to IVing it anyway.
 
From my readings taking MXE sublingually (under the tongue) is a better ROA than insufflation.
 
I have tried all ROA, i enjoy the feeling from IM the most. Not large doses 30-40mg. Plugging comes second but isnt worth the process for me. I sugest 20mg sublingual for the first time
 
It's interesting to hear about MXE being IV'd. You say there didn't seem to be much benefit of IV compared to IM so I take it the onset wasn't much faster than IM? As for the M-Hole trouble you could try doing the lower doses IV'd or just have a trip sitter.
Has anyone tried subcut? I take it it doesn't work as it's IM'd but has anyone tried, whether it was planned or not.

I really enjoyed it too, not quite the replacement for ketamine that I hoped it would be, but still a very fun drug :)
 
Was urs the China shit or Indian made? I found the Chinese to be a lackluster version of K... Whereas the Indian version, has me on the level. Gee, what a chemical... (Yeah I know, I sound like a freak).

Haha we're all enthusiastic about one drug or another here :p

I've no idea where it came from initially, it was a fine white powder that stung when snorted.
 
^ merging with existing MXE thread. I've had two different batches (from the same vendor); both an slightly off-white, fine powder, one about 3 times stronger than the other. Shared with another bluelighter who confirmed the same. Both were very smooth to snort. As much as it's an interesting and novel drug though I have no intention of seeking out more as I pretty much ended up hooked on it, taking small bumps 24/7 and losing several weeks in a dissociated blur. Please don't underestimate the addictive nature of this substance.
