Jabberwocky
Frumious Bandersnatch
I made a big mistake going to Narcotics Anonymous for help. Turned out more than 50 % of the people were there involuntarily as part of their bail conditions for drug related crimes - great place to get hooked up.
Big shame though as I am great believer in 12 steps not just for going straight but managing life in general.
It might not mean much, but you will get through it and you will be able to beat it. I suffered from a heavy 6/7 - 7/7 day a week addiction for a long time with a job that payed well enough to support it, in fact, it enhanced my performance at my job, which was partly why I took it so often. I've been clean for a while now (not entirely sure how long) and believe it or not it was an anti-tobacco ad that gave me the mindset to get through. Every time you say no your willpower builds that little bit more, as does your self-esteem. The first time someone offers some to you and you can look them in the face and say "no thanks" you feel so good about yourself. You have the doubts in the back of your mind about missing out, but nothing can beat the feeling of knowing you've defeated something with your own willpower. The next time it happens its a little bit easier, and it continues like that.
Stay strong, it is a devil of an addiction, but there are people that have been in the same position as yourself or worse and have pulled through, you can too and you will man.
