Anyone seen much in the way of brown speed? If so, why is it brown? Got a contact and it seems to be all he gets. It is relatively cheap but it stinks (kind of like solvents and cat piss), is a pretty uniform brown/sandy colour and is a bit damp. Plus it burns like a bitch when snorted. About average quality for speed (can't say I have had any speed for ages - been mostly ice if go the amphetamine route).

Plug or snort I find the effects are almost identical except snorting does burn a tad. I second AFA 30-50 mg for 24 hours is my usual dose although I snort/eat. It's what I grew up with and I still look ok for my age despite having been a psyche-fiend for some time. Smoking is just shit IMO as it releases some nasty carcinogenic chemicals as illustrated by the meth bong post a page back. Also makes it more addictive and shorter lasting.

I hate looking at a meth pipe. Also meth should never be overheated. Funny tale: a mate had some gear and was new to smoking ice. This was around 10 years ago. Told him to not overheat the stuff it's not like weed. So he just charred about 100 mg or 0.1 which was ok at first. As he got over 1/2 way he just kept hitting it with heat. I sat back and said nothing after all those who disregard others advice can learn at their own peril.

Shit turned black in the pipe and the fucker took a hit that looked like the fires in the oil fields following the first gulf war. Massive black cloud of shit came gushing out his mouth and I've never seen someone run to a dunny that quick, I mean he could have been the flash. Massive puke followed massive puke. I just sat and said "that's what you get" while having an amused chuckle.

Same guy has fucked himself from smoking ice and now is mentally unwell and semi-homeless, oh yeah and he used to deal "ice". Also he would use light bulbs to smoke his stuff, the new coated bulbs BTW. Problem was he always had to be "the man" and would just get whatever dodgy shit he could. All this just so a bunch of junkie "mates" could come around and he felt like someone special. Also they all used to call meth "crack" and think benzo's were a waste of his/their "ice" high. Smoking it will make you look like the ice junkies of California... urrrghh not for me thanks. Same fuckwit used to give me shit about my use of MXE calling it horse tranquilizer after I explained it was similar to Ketamine (I don't use big words like "analogue" with these people). Guess I had the last laugh.

Moral of the story I'm still functional have a job and a place to call my own. I used meth fairly often when I was younger but almost not at all these days. My ROA (snorting/eating) has enabled me to far outlast people like those outlined above. That and using 0.5 grams of high quality meth in a 24-48 hour period is just insane IMO, unless smoking and then I can understand the usage although I personally feel it's very wasteful and bad, bad, bad. Almost like getting hit with the exhaust from a cook up... Anyhow I'm not anyone's mummy but in the spirit of HR I thought I'd share this information.

As for the GBL added was it wet meth? Why buy wet meth it's meant to be a dry crystal not wet shit and for the price these days OMG! It would be fairly pointless if the GBL evaporated as this would defeat the purpose of cutting the gear although how much GBL salt would be left behind, anyway a question for someone with more knowledge of chemistry and perhaps someone who cares about the potential harm of this practice more than I do. "If it's wet don't get" was my simple rule when it came to meth. I think footscrazy is spot on will not do sweet fuck all and is just another shitty cut to milk an extra bit of cash for the dealer to fund his/her own habit.

??? Why and how are my first thoughts. GBL as in precursor for GHB? More questions like "why would you bother" spring to mind. Chemically probably not even possible but I'm not going to even bother researching this as "not possible in terms of chemistry" is what I think/know. I dunno, its a rumour I have heard and there is some rock that I have been sampling, that when whacked, give an odd feeling in the gut, sort of feels a bit smacky and yea, G-ish. I am well experienced in G so I do know the effects. Also this particular product appears to be slightly wet in the bag.

What is going on with my crystal meth

I have some meth that when ace toned washed came up well, it came as big cloudy rocks, it looks the goods but when you smoke it, first of all it takes ages for the liquid to set (indicative of cut). First time sets the right opaque/off white colour but the more you smoke the more it turns orange when it sets. Eventually near the end it goes a brown into black setting and starts blazing really well. I attributed the last part to be a cutting agent used that burns at a higher temperature than the meth. The last bit it tastes horrible, to the extent I will not even bother smoking it, as it makes me want to gag so I will just clean my pipe. Initially when it turns orange, I thought this may be due to a substance not being properly reduced in the cook, or just a chemical not fully removed again down to poor manufacture. Having washed it in acetone,it still ends up the brown-black colour at the end when it is setting. I am definitely not burning the meth, I know how to smoke a pipe. Potentially burning the end bit, whatever it is, because I believe based on the increase in smoke combined with a chemical (and definitely different to a burnt meth taste) flavour, but I am pretty sure that comes into play once the actual meth has gone. I don't know if the orange puddle is related to the brown/black because when it sets orange it still tastes ok. The gear itself is decent, producing energy, alertness, etc and when snorted is also very effective. Just the taste and colour I am intrigued by. I got rid of some of mine to non smokers and they were happy with it. Two friends had the same problems as me (same source), but I opted to rail it, they are putting up with the flavour.

I was also wondering from a previous batch, how can you tell if your meth is made using ketones as oppose to pseudo. There was one lot that if eaten or snorted would produce a feeling of alertness and more energy but no euphoria. So my friends were sitting there packing pipe after pipe and getting nothing, concluding it was weak, where as snorting and eating it, I found it to be alright. Did some brief reading and ketone based method resulted only containing d-amp whereas pseudo produces meth with a d-amp and L-amp and you ideally want them both.

Can't comment on your cuts mate, that sounds like some weird shit. In future probably avoid self incrimination in regards to getting rid of anything, if you know what I mean.

You are a bit mixed up on ketone and pseudo, you are right to think pseudo yields the more desirable product but this is pure D isomer meth and not racemic or "ketone" which is made from P2P. Still, racemic gear should have an effect when smoked, I personally find it to be much less euphoric and potent and it has a funny taste. I have only come across confirmed "ketone" as 'speed', as far as I am aware you need D meth/pseudo gear to crystalise it properly and make true ice. I have heard that they have found a way around that in recent years but I cannot confirm that as any more than rumour as I don't know it to be fact.

If so, would the amounts used have any noticeable effect?

I have seen this done, the way I've seen it is by dripping the g onto msm cut, about 1ml per gram (in this case). I have been stupid enough to smoke the result too, it didn't do shit.

Definite decrease in quality over the last month or two! Don't get me wrong, there's always plenty of crap around masquerading as ice, especially around Western Sydney I've discovered, but I've been getting consistently good quality from my trusted sources for quite a while now, and never had a problem swapping it back if on a rare occasion it didn't seem as good as usual.. The last 5 or 6 weeks have been shocking though!

Twice I've received a bag full of awful chemical-tasting cut, and this is not even from the same place mind you. The first bag of cut I kicked up a stink and got it swapped, luckily for pretty perfect quality rocks. The second bag of cut I also returned to the original owner, but I still can't figure out what I got in return! It looked like ice and burned like it, although there was a yucky taste of cut at the beginning that needed to be burned off before smoking. I decided I could cope with this rather than waiting possibly days to risk the current lottery-hat again, and persisted with it. Once the initial cut burned off, the puddle left behind produced an unusually sweet vapour, not in any way that really resembled the taste of meth though. The effects were also more tweaky and less introspective than normal, and it did keep me up after smoking enough of it, but gave me some weird tummy effects that I never, ever get from smoking meth. I'm leaning towards the possibility of it being some kind of stimulant RC because it was just so different to meth, it wasn't like when you get something that just doesn't seem cooked properly for example. I really can't figure it out though, so I'm just clutching at straws here. I just hope this crappy-quality phase doesn't last.

Basically just moved in with two other gay guys and after last weekends meth fuelled sex fest that involved a LOT of IVd crystal I just had another pretty decent shot(it's been almost a week since the last sesh) that I had to go outside and chill in the fresh air for. Wasn't crystal, more brown rocky speed but rushed for a good twenty minutes off of 2.5pts. In other words I'm spun as fuck and the others don't IV so soon their plugging their dose and then the fun starts!

This speed ain't bad at all, been getting right into the crystal and speed lately and I can tell ya even though neither are better or worse, at this point the cryssie and speed is a lot cheaper than a heroin habit. I have been using a lot too so I was surprised to see that little bit get me so spun. This stuff was speed and I usually have 1/2g instead of 1/4g and don't feel anything near this.

I'm glad to have introduced my friends to the joys of plugging coz I won't IV them and plugging is the next best thing.... They love it

So I'm off to fry the day away and probably fuck a lot away too hehe oh huh meth your too fun!!! Probably won't be thinking the same in a few days

^ Meth fueled drug sex is amazing, imo it really devalues "normal" non-drug sex. One problem I have with meth is how it forces down your social barriers, so you might be open to unprotected sex with strangers etc. need to be careful with that

Yeah sex on Meth in itself raises the abuse potential and sober sex can feel boring. I once had sex for 12 hours on Meth ... Best sex I have EVER had ... Actually unbelievable that you can fuck for hours and never cum yet it feel's AMAZING and turns you into a primal animal.

I think about Meth at least 3 times a day and haven't touched it in two months. It is playing with a loaded gun I know but I started in 2007 and never used more than once a week and it's been like that for the last 6 years. My new job is good in the way my boss knows if my pupils are dilated I'm high hence I never pull all-nighters and go to work .... They can see it on my face so it's only a Saturday night thing mostly.

Right now I'm on this break as this summer I'm gonna smash the parties and raves ... Kinda like the silence before the storm.

Children seeking treatment for drug addiction

CHILDREN as young as 12 are seeking treatment for addiction to the methamphetamine ‘ice’, a state parliamentary inquiry has been told.

Director of clinical services at Uniting Care’s Re-Gen drug treatment agency, Donna Ribton-Turner, said the program had treated teenagers and children, including more than one 12-year-old.

Five years ago, just five per cent of people in the Re-Gen treatment programs were admitted for ice use.

Staff say 14 per cent of clients now indicate that ice is their primary addiction with an extra nine per cent identifying it as their secondary drug choice.

The inquiry was also told ice use had grown across Victoria in the past two years, particularly in regional areas, because it was easy to manufacture and transport.

Chief executive of harm reduction group ANEX, John Ryan, told the inquiry ice was being manufactured in car boots and hotel rooms, and recipes were available on the internet.

He said the decentralised manufacturing model meant it was easier to produce and transport which had lead to a problem right across the state.

Mr Ryan told the inquiry there were 23,000 known Victorian ice users but said the real number could be a lot higher.

The Law Reform, Drugs and Crime Prevention Committee inquiry into ice is looking at the supply and distribution of crystal methamphetamine in Victoria, particularly in regional areas.

First of all, I don't want to come across as judgemental or an anti-. I believe everyone should have the right to do as they wish with their own body but I'd like to share a recent experience with you...

First some background. I am a 40 year old business owner, married for 20 years with 2 wonderful children who are 17 and 7. I tried various things when I was younger. Never really liked pot because it just made me sleepy but I developed a taste for coke and LSD between high school and the time I got married. My wife is a complete anti- so I pretty much refrained and had no trouble giving up coke altogether as a casual user (about once a week) but continued to use LSD when I found it availabale and had the opportunity.

I recently (this past weekend) spent some time with an old high school buddy at our lake house and found out that he has been using meth for close to 2 years. He says that he uses to focus at work as an engineer and also blows it out on weekends sometimes. It seemed like a good idea at the time so I decided to try it with him. Long story short, we smoked a little over 2 grams between Friday evening and Saturday evening. The rush was awesome and we smoked way too much way too fast. I enjoyed playing with the pipe as much as the drug itself. In the interim between taking our last hit around 7pm on Saturday and actually being able to fall asleep about 4 hours later I made the comment that I was extremely focused and could get a lot of work done so I arranged for him to send me .5 grams after he got back home and let me see if it was going to allow me to work the way I wanted to. I typically work 2-3 days a week but they are 16-20 hour days to allow me the rest of the week off for family and fun. It wasn't even going to cost me anything because I had it worked out with him that I would send him boxes of Sudafed to trade to his guy each month and could get up to 1.5 grams for 3 boxes if I found that I needed that much.

Sunday and Monday were like a living hell for me. I felt good Sunday but when I got home and saw my kids I felt guilty immediately and then Monday while I should have been working I found myself cruising the internet trying to find out how to find this stuff on the streets and in the end just went cruising looking for some. Never found any and I'm glad I didn't. By Tuesday (yesterday) my body had finally started returning to normal and I had stopped looking in the truck seats to see if he had dropped a few pieces maybe that I could put in a pipe I bought on the way home. I spent hours on this site and a couple of others over those 2 days and realized yesterday that I was totally infatuated with this drug and that my plan to load .05 grams in a pipe each day and make one bowl last an entire evening just to stay awake would not work... I knew that I might have the self-discipline to maintain for a few days but soon I would fall prey so I made the call yesterday and told him not to send the package and that while we have been friends forever and I will continue to be his friend I would prefer that he not bring anymore of that stuff around me.

A large part of me reaching this conclusion was from the hours I spent on these boards looking at tips and ways to make it go farther and correctly use the drug and I really feel that I owe a "Thank you" to those of you who have made these posts that I enjoyed reading while I was jonesing because it made me realize that I was soon to be doing the same shit. I love my wife and children too much to even risk it so I will not be going down that road. I don't know if it's possible to call yourself addicted after one heavy session but I certainly understand how meth can get a grip on someone that they can't shake.

Good post, it seems meth got you from the first try. It's not uncommon so don't feel bad about it, anyone can get addicted to meth very quickly, especially pipe users because the high is amazing and you just hit it over and over until you can't get high anymore.

You should be happy that you didn't continue that meth run, it's all down hill after the 2nd or 3rd day anyway

To not happening: Meth is an evil addictive bitch and as already stated don't feel to bad you got hooked. 2 grams between 2 people over 2 days is a lot especially although as you guys smoked it the effects are shorter lasting and the urge to redose more compelling. I personally never smoke the stuff anymore it's just not worth it. I'd rather snort it as the high lasts longer and you need way less, if I was going to use it. Also does not seem as addictive this way vs smoking I can have a little bit of good gear (0.1 gram) last me a few days. Give it a few days and the worst of the cravings will go but you will always have an issue with this stuff it does something to your brain and your always thinking about how "good" it made you feel.

Avoid making up freebase coke, it's easy but oh so bad for you. Seen a woman in the US with a trachy from excessive crack use and she was only 30 (so she said), also she was on a street corner hustling for money to feed her habit... real sad stuff. Not saying this will be were you end up or anything, god no seems like your way more switched on. Perhaps try not to smoke it maybe next time just have a small line, like 25 mg or so, and see how that effects you. Thanks for posting and sharing this with the community .
