p.s. I love black metal, checking that out next once im more fucked in the head... early behemoth albums are still my fav black metal. Wolves in the Throne Room make some amazing ambient black metal. Their album Two Wolves is the bessst. Gonna queue them up for my next dph/dxm trip next week. 900/600mg baby, let the spiders swarm me entirely. I wish I could head bang more but my spine is fucked.

Firstly so very glad you were finally introduced to lamb of god ministry of mice and men exodus and godsmack def greats and worth the time to listen ! You should def check out sepultura and like bands can't think for shyt right now being its 515 and only got 3 hrs of sleep
 
I had all of them in my playlist for years before excluding exodus which is now in my playlist
I do like sepultura and they are also in my playlist too.

I do have a huge collection of metal bands which I like, most of my friends are too mainstream these days though :( and when I suggest going to see some of the lesser known bands when they tour Australia I end up going by myself.
Crossfaith is another band which is worth highlighting in this thread for anyone who hasn't given them a try. Unfortunately every time they have toured here they sound like crap. I am not sure if they don't bring their audio guys with them and just get some local person who doesn't know how to set them up well or what, but I have seen them at venues and outdoor stages at festivals and the sound is awful. If you listen to them on your media player though and they are very good.

top few bands at the moment include (but not limited to) Horn, Badr Vogu, Cough, Burzum, Birdflesh. I do not listen to any one type of metal subgenre. As long as its not new metal, screamo shit or hardcore bro stuff. always really loved sludge/ doom/ black/ and stoner/ metal.

yah i totally have been craking "Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk" a lot lately. Ive been in love with this album for 18 years, its still a masterpiece. Ill never git sick of it.

Most recently Pantera's "Cowboys From Hell" has been in rotation, not to forget my favorite thrash metal album that gets play daily Slayer's SHOW NO MERCY!!! Not into much of the newer acts in metal, typically just stick to oldschool.
 
Metal Music and MDMA?

Anyone have any experience with metal music and it's relation with MDMA? If anyone is interested in talking about it, I'd like to name bands. I have never experimented with it before so I was simply curious if anyone here has or does.
