Has anyone noticed that their veins are more visible after they took meph?
Its been about a month since i took it and i have noticed today that i can see loads of veins on the inside of my elbow, and some at the top right of my chest and im not sure if this is caused by the mephedrone. So has anyone else noticed this?

ive noticed that myself. the veins on my arm seam to be more visible than they were. when on meph they were hardly visible atall and the next day they appear to me more visible than when i took it in the first place. im not doing it again myself now the shit is just to dogy

right, I took a bit of meph recently (naughty) and got the purpleness and flushed skin, also visible veins.
I now belive it is NOT vasoconstriction. If you start getting purple joints then stratch yourself anywhere on your body, you'll be left with a red mark from the pressure. I reckon becsause the joints bend the skin tightens and and creates pressure.
So I think the discolouration is from some kind of clotting at the capilaries near the skin, The veins also seem to be affected somehow because many who report disscoloured limbs also mention veins are more visiblke than before

One thing you should NOT do if getting these veins/discolouration things is start researching possible causes on the internet, as many people in this thread have done. Just going to increase anxiety considerably, best to go to a doctor if its really that worrying, who will probably tell you you're absolutely fine.
Also...if ones limbs are turning purple, not taking mephedrone ever again seems a logical conclusion.

Won't they just go back to huffing butane, glue and petrol if they can't get mephedrone? I think meph is probably healthier than huffing butane.

I thought they used anything that's cheap? Seeing as an 11 year olds pocket money doesn't usually stretch to afford cocaine presumably they go for glue and butane.

kids cant afford cocaine, but base is only £10g or less, soapbar is only £10 an eighth. Alcohol is even cheaper. Glue sniffing is not really done any more.
i find it hard to believe 11 yr olds are taking drugs any way tbh, maybe the odd 11 yr old is buts its not common. the media might be trying to make out that all 11yr old kids are getting fucked but its just not true.

When i was a child i always had the impression that the attrition rate with glue sniffing was far too high to be worth trying.
Later on it anoyed me that they taught anti glue sniffing in the same environment as anti drugs 'education' because they gave the impression the two were similarly dangerous when in fact solvent abuse is much more risky as you are actually injesting a toxin.

Totally agree with what Kid has said here. The problem is alot of kids aged 15-16 are selling the stuff. The younger kids see them doing it and they want to do it. Even alot of my mates who are say 18-25 do not use mephedrone sensibly at all. Some of the younger ones have never used real MDMA and probably wouldn't pay £50 for a g

I'd say most kids are buying mephedrone over any other powder, it's easily available and they can get it decent purity. The speed, pills or cocaine to available to most users that age will be mostly glucose, pips and repress.
The vendors usually wont sell to anyone under 18 I'm sure it says. But then I don't see whats to stop them putting in a false D.O.B, maybe the bank card would be an issue tho.
I don't believe in prohibition. But mephedrone use is out of control in the uk, it needs something done and soon. What should have happened is they should have investigated and educated about it sensibly before it became an issue. If they had learned anything from what happened with GBL.
Too many people using it who are totally ignorant to what they are putting in their bodies. In the likes of Holland look at the system they have and look at the figures. Nowhere near the same problems or percentage of drug users there. The ones who do use are alot better educated when they start. We rely on users educating other users or educating themselves if they want real information about drugs.
