im pretty sure people are abusing other drugs like they do meph. any heroin addicts here? pretty sure there is. any coke addicts? im pretty sure there is aswell. there are people on here who are dependant/addicted to a number of drugs. having a full blown addiction is a little bit different than having 3 days on the meph. i reckon the majority of people on here abuse or have abused drugs to some extent. so folk need to get off their high horse when it comes to meph

Its the unknown nature of the drug that concerns people. With coke for instance, its certainly not good for you but we have many well known people who have used it at insane levels for years on end and come out fine once they've stopped; there is an element of 'tried and tested' about it. For all we know meph is causing serious issues either physically or mentally that will only come out later; hopefully this is not true but no testing has been done so the long term implications cannot be known for sure. Therefore it is more important to exercise caution with this unknown compound compared to coke, speed, heroin, etc.

Plenty of people on BL in general who abuse heroin and crack. Pretty sure I've never read a post encouraging that abuse, pretty sure I've read MANY posts offering advise and harm reduction to the addicted.
Pretty sure this is a thread about mephedrone full of people with car crash lives who may need a wake up call.
So sorry if it offends you for people to warn about the dangers of abusing an untested research chemical that has been warned about on this board by the brilliant theoretical chemist that is F and B. And to do it in the mephedrone thread too, well honestly what are we all thinking of. 8)

fair enough but you get people posting pictures of that vasoconstriction shit from a bromodragonfly overdose as if "this WILL happen to your hand if you sniff meph". you don't get people posting pictures of a fucked up junkie in a thread where some1 asks about heroin or pictures of daniella westbrooks beak all over the threads about coke.
i totally understand the need to warn people about the possible dangers. i also totally understand that alot of people have been irresponsible with this drug & need to calm down with it but i just think that folk are getting a bit like reefer madness when it comes to this

Done faar too much meph this week. tanned off 7g between 3 of us on wednesday night. i think this stuff is probably more fiendish than any other drug i've ever been near! Went on it again on friday night, got home at 10am this morning. Never used to find it atall fiendish when i refused to sniff any, but its fiendish as fuck if you sniff it.
My own fault though, been doing stupid doses, like 250mg bomb and 150mg line 10mins later.. No wonder my chest hurts. My Rockness stash has almost dissappeared! Got 3.5g of the crystally meph left for it then thats me, think i've used and abused this chem enough with there being no good pills etc, time to give the drugs a break![:\](https://bluelight.org/xf/BL_Images/Orig_Emoji/wrygrin.gif "wry grin :\")

The difference is that anyone abusing heroin or coke is likely to be fully aware that they are fucking themselves up, or at least on a good honest denial trip.
Mephedrone is new. Some people know nothing about it and are willing to take shit loads. Some people know a bit about it but are happy to ignore the hints and warning signs and take the stuff for days on end because it's legal so it can't be that bad (or something?).
I bet that if mephedrone is still around in 10 years or so most people familiar with the stuff would recognise that taking multiple grams over multiple days is abuse. Some people will still abuse it, but as has been pointed out elsewhere some people will always abuse things.

You'ld think you were the only one who had ever did drugs SHM, you're giving out your advice on dosage and limits as if it's absolute fact and the same for everyone. Blatently not true.
Plenty of people have experience with Meph, the folk who are caining 10G in a week probably have more experience with the drug than you do. How about we take what they say as gospel? 8)

I even said I agreed with you that people needed to calm down on the meph and that doing 10G in a week was stupid. I claimed the fact you were giving out specific dosages as being safe / where the euphoria ended as baseless as it's always going to depend on individual. I also said that you were talking shit regarding having never gone on a binge and always playing it safe, I don't beleive it for a second especially seeing as you often did E three times a week and recently had a session involving 3 different stimulants (which 2 were dodgy RCs) with some downers thrown in. There's little moderate or safe about some of your use but you feel as if it's OK to lecture others on the dangers of their drug taking and make all sorts of claims about how respectable your drug use is.
That's not the point. Most of us are aware that it could be very dangerous caining such an unknown drug, it's your condescending attitude that's pissing folk off. Your holthier than thou approach as if you are absolutely perfect and would never even consider having a bit of a mad one.

i think the people who are members of this board & who are abusing meph know full well that it will be fucking them up but choose to ignore the risk or just take the chance the same with anything else. i agree that your average person who gets a hold of it would prolly think legal = safer, but the people on here, in other words - the people YOU are talking to, know that this is not the case & know that this stuff is prolly dodgy but choose to take it anyway. the same as some1 injecting a speedball into their arm most likely knows full well its not a very safe thing to do.

We could, however, do with asking one of them at what dose the euphoria went and they were left solely with a speedy high. It certainly didn't happen to me up to 1000mg.

I believe about 250mg is standard for a reasonably sized person wanting to feel the full effects of mephedrone; i can't garantee that however. 250mg is the dose i take. The dose required is definitely higher than with MDMA for me for a similar effect.
I also can't believe you always keep getting the same effects after continuous redosing. However, i did notice that when i was on the stuff, even if i redosed too late such that i was on my way back to being sober the mephedrone would kick back in and i'd feel pretty much as good as i had the 20mins before, before the mephedrones quick drop off had plumeted me back to sober.
That effect is the whole reason why i ended up taking 2 x the amount i meant to (1 gram instead of 500mg). I assume it's very similar for people that take much more and i can't believe 750mg is the limit.
I would imagine that every subsiquent redose gives you slightly less of a euphoria hit and slightly more negative side effects and stimulation, but that the general reduction of euphoria assuming you keep redosing is a slow tailing off rather than an after 750mg you get nothing but speedyness.
My limbs (knuckles, elbows, feet, knees) have been oddly purple/blue for six months after doing seven grams in a week. They're not getting better, but vary from day to day. Sometimes they are ok, sometimes they look absolutely fucked and people stare at me as if I've got some sort of disease. This changed my view on meph forever. I had been sold it and introduced to it by a guy who said "yer m8, itz fukin bwilliant shit, u can dwo it awl week and nuffin bad will happen, no cumdawn or nefing" (it was actually worse english than that, but you get the message). So thats what I did.
Now, many months later, this drug scares the shit out of me. People that do more than 200-300mg's a night, and more than once every month are nutters in my opinion. As a rule of thumb I'd say treat it like MDMA until some clinical studies are done. Monthly at the most, and not more than 300mg. But then again, theres always some tits (like I was before, which I fully admit), and soon a couple of the tits will die and get it banned for good.
It is like MDMA to an extent, but effects the cardiovascular system a heck of a lot more, and in a completely unknown way. My resting pulse when I used to do it was not uncommonly 140BPM, which is ridiculously high for any stimulant.
