KillRockStar Entertainment in association with Loaded proudly presents-
Pharmacy [Follow The Leader]
Attention all parents! Report to your local therapists, report to your local church, report to your local police department- its goin’ down! The infamous Pharmacy fire starters return through the looking glass for another tale from the dark side. Join us in our empire of dirt as Melbourne’s original black magic boys once again prescribe their patented prescriptions of filthy acid punk, nosebleed techno for the soul and of course a smattering of grinding hard trance for good measure! Baby, we’re addicted to drums and slaves to the dark beat!!
Gracing the Pharmacy decks are none other than hard trance maestros Cosmic Gate, the lord of London underground acid techno- Chris Liberator, the Italian techno stallion Joy Kitikonti and of course Pharmacy’s very own pretty little hate machine- The Hellraiser!
For the first time Pharmacy is featuring the Zoo Breaks stage serving up lashings of dark electro and a bucket of Kentucky Fried Breaks. Please welcome from the wilds of Sydney the white horse of TripleJ- Sharif plus local Lasergun electro hero- Dave Pham!
The revolution will NOT be televised- the revolution is already here!
Cosmic Gate [Germany]
Dj and production team Claus Terhoeven [Nic Chagall] and Stefan Bossems [DJ Bossi] are the duo responsible for hard trance hymns Mental Atmosphere, Firewire, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, The Drums and the seminal Exploration Of Space. As if that wasn’t enough they were also behind the massive remix of Ferry Corsten’s Punk as well as taking up remix duties for the best of best including Tiesto, Rank1, Dumonde plus Blank & Jones. Buoyed by appearances at the likes of Nature1, Trance Energy, Sensation and Gods Kitchen it is little surprise that the wonder team this year crashed into DJ Mag’s Top 100 list at number eighty-six… Welcome to the Cosmic Gate.
Joy Kitikonti [BXR, Italy]
Joy is a DJ of the heart; a heart that beats, pulses and radiates emotion. He is a man of few words, truly allowing his music to speak for him. The partner in crime of one time BXR boss Mauro Picotto, Joy Kitikonti’s crossover anthem Joy Energiser is without question one of the defining releases of the tech-trance movement. A true musician plus a technically brilliant deejay, Joy has enjoyed continued success with the follow up smash Joy Don’t Stop and again with his current release Porno Joy… Truly masterful and not to be missed!
Chris Liberator [Stay Up Forever, UK]
Born out of the London punk rock scene Chris Liberator was one of the founding fathers of London’s acid techno underground. Besides his prolific work for Stay Up Forever plus Smitten, Routemaster, Boscaland, Bionic Orange, Hydraulix and Cluster under a range of different monikers [including work with Guy ‘Geezer’ McAffer, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, D.D.R, Rowland The Bastard, Lawrie Immersion and John Truelove] Chris has played all across the globe, even being the first western DJ to work in the former iron curtain states of the once USSR. As well as being co-owner of Stay Up Forever, Chris runs his own techno labels Maximum:Minimum and WahWah plus tech-house label Yolk. Techno purists suck on this!
