Well I for one am dead keen on a good pub dinner + rowdy chats and drinkies.

Hmm, *laugh* to the Corner Hotel having _good_ pub dinner. Each time we have eaten there in the past year or so (living 5 minutes walk from there) it has been pretty bad compared to the "old cook" there 2-3 years ago which it was awesome to eat at. When they renovated the top part of the pub sometime between 1-2 years ago, pretty sure they got a new cook/chef (ha!) as the food prices all changed (for more expensive) and the quality dropped big time. Theres lots more pubs that serve good meals without being too packed to eat at. The london tavern down (almost literally) down the road from it, say 5-10 minute walk from it is AWESOME food nowdays. Also the revamped Richmond Club Hotel 1-2 minutes walk away is pretty good as well.

Definitely a big thumbs down for food from the Corner Hotel (considering it was my drinking spot and I used to go there 5-7 days a week, hehe. All I can say is,. Try to enjoy it I guess Hopefully they got rid of the chef there of recent times for someone who knows how to actually cook again.

It was also one mentioned in earlier posts when this was all being investigated.

All I've done is pick a place because nobody else seemed willing to get off their ass and do it

the quality of the sauce rated low
but the 2/2 for the amount of cheese n sauce makes up for it in my books. N the chicken meat being good- I've had parmas that initially look delish but then the meat is yuk/poor quality. Sometimes that hokey processed chicken not actuall breast (or whole chicken flattened)
so are we now going down the road instead?
I guess we can all meet where we were going to anyway n then venture form there. Tho we mite lose some late pple...
