(Melb) Two Tribes 2006 - Sat 25th FEB REVIEWS (Melbourne Park)

I'm guessing they're going to put Tracid in the PHD or Hard Kandy or Pharmacy room, and have Graham, Schulz and Armin headline the Godskitchen arena with Steve Strangis and hopefully Midro's reign has ended after the healthy reception with someone different closing at Kryal, although I'm sure Midro might be friends with Mark James or something...

Armin will be on about 12 or 1 ish - thats when they put prodigy on last year??
 
Judging by the previous years set times, I'm betting Armin starts around 2 ;)
 
Hahaha...How can you be shocked and suprised that someone is over trance? You get over it as soon as you've heard it...It's one big buildup to nothingness...Pussy trance bulls h i t...

I want real hardstyle DJ's, it's a Melbourne gig, why can't they cater for the Melbourne rave scene?? Can't we just have pharmacy skipped foward a coupla weeks and on a much bigger scale?? I wanna see Derb and Hellraiser and Nik Fish and Amber Savage in the vodafone arena with all the pretty lights...Think of all that extra dancing space too...And no muzzas - no sweaty muzza bodies with their shirts off...And wow...That'd just be perfect...
 
Has there or will there be any confirmation of the length of Armin's set? Heard along the grapevine he'd be playing one of his signature marathon sets somewhere around possibly the 5-6 hour mark. Is this just not possible? Armin is the only one on the lineup I'd go to see and I'd only go if he is playing a decent set.

The man behind Future Entertainment has been a DJ in Melbourne for a number of years, obviously he is catering for the Melbourne rave scene otherwise he wouldn't be getting the sheer numbers that they do each and every event.

And excactly like you said, 'can't we just have pharmacy skipped forward a couple of weeks and on a much bigger scale?', in all due respect, if they could, and if there was that many people that still listen to hard trance or hardstyle, then they obviously would.
 
Only a month and a bit to go .. hope i can keep myself together.

I am actually getting in shape for this as i plan on doing the whole night from start to finish.

Got my crew together, got my supplies, got the tix, got the cash - gonne be massive !!

Blue lighters should prolly wear a blue sash or something so I know whom to hug the hell out of when i see them.

Question: Glow sticks: I know they are a terrible cliche ..but frankly i find them incredibly fun to dance with. I aint concerned about fashion or what people think but will i be the only one glowed up - i've noticed that they are almost frowned upon these days.

hahaha well just thought il let ya know, no you wont only be the one glowed up;-) me and my misses will have flashing stuff on us. plus getting new phatty's for this event $500 bucks later hahah there going to be out there:-)

anyway we are all booked up and have tickets so next stop melb see ya all there:-)

I find it amusing that people frown about glowies but as soon as you crack one up people are lining up to play with them, I generally sell a few while i'm out as well.

Just got ahold of some Armin ... WOW ! - clearly he stands out to me as the cream of the line up.

Anyway .. does anyone have any info on the room and time he will be playing ?

A mate told me today that they locked people out of Gods Kitchen last year when it fills up.. is this correct ?
 
^^yep sure is. for armins set at 2ish i am seriously contemplating getting into the arena by about 10ish. we only got in to prodigy on the dancefloor last year by the skin of our teeth. i don't want to deal with that again

Beech im guessing arminwont play longer than 2 hours cos there are so many other acts =D

im a kandi kid .... but im over the whole candy up the arm thing .... and i find i get bored of glowsticks in about 2 seconds flat ...

i remember last year i was sitting down minding my own business and my poor old stomach which was feeling a bit weak when this girl came up and started swinging something flashing in my face .... she almost copped the contents of my stomach :p haha
 
For prodigy last year the whole of rod laver was full they stopped letting people down before they even came on. we left just before the end of prodigys set to go to godskitchen and luckily we did cos the line was fucking long as to get in there after they finished.. i dono if they stopped people getting in all together but id just choose wat room most of the acts you wana see are in and stay there, its too hard to do every room & i hate lining up.

Also they release set times like a week before i think. Last year i got it texted to my mobile. just sign up to future entertainment & they email you:D
 
^^ right idea!! my friend and i are staying in god's kitchen room this year ... i love soft trance and the lineup is awesome for who's billed that im guessing they will stick in there :D
 
hey dose anyone know when they will have the full lineup up?? there really taken there time this year. does anyone know why there full line up and flyer isn't out yet??? kind of sucks
