(Melb) Two Tribes 2006 - Sat 25th FEB REVIEWS (Melbourne Park)

^^ yeah i reckon armin will be on about about 12 - 3:30 .... better get in as early as possible .... i think everyone is going for this!!

yeah i think strangis might be a bit harder

schulz will either be as a warm up or cool down after armin :)

(Steve Strangis)

Music Style:

Uplifting & Melodic Trance, Drivey Euphoric Trance, Progressive Trance, Progressive House, Tech-Trance

this seems like a likely set times scenario

strangis: 11 - 12
schulz: 12 - 2
van buuren: 2 - 5.30
kai tracid: 5.30 - 7

but if steve strangis plays hard trance then it could be: (although i doubt they'd start with an international, although this room is starting an hour after the rest start):

schulz: 11 - 1
van buuren: 1 - 4.30
kai tracid: 4.30 - 6
strangis: 6 - 7

Steve doesn't play hard trance. He plays what the rabbi said. And obviously he's not going to be as stupid as Midro or Jewelz of whomever they usually put on before trance internationals and play a hammering set so hard that sends your ovaries (or testicles) flying out of your face.

That first set times for Vodaphone looks pretty likely marcs131 :)

iv spoken to steve and he has said if he opens he wont be playing any hard like tracks just his style of music, and if he closes he might chuck 1 or 2 tracks that have a bit more of a harder beat, so dont suspect hard stuff from steve..

im a little paranoid i wont get in to see armins set cos of it being to packed in Vodafone.. how early would you guys recommend gettin in there??

I'll be there.....tho i haven't organised diddly yet....

For me it's Armin, Lee Coombs, Dylan Rhymes, Technasia, maybe some Angello....and for the locals it'll be Kasey Taylor (too long since i've seen that guy), Dallas vs Dave Pham...and maybe a few more....

I recommend getting in at 11 when the arena opens .... i know that's very early but definitely worth it in the long run

With toilets attached to the dance floor anyway, you don't need to worry about leaving for that .... and there's usually a bar on the dance floor too :D

Plus if you get bored and have a need to wander (like i usually do) the arena is so big you can go on a meeting-people mission hehe ;)

Yay strangis isn't too hard? thats great news =D

it can be a bit squishy but i have found that no matter what kind of plans i make beforehand..... the night always ends up just happening as it will.

need set times sooon. should be interesting to see who armin clashes with in the hardware room.
I'm better the majority if not all of blackstrobe atm, with a sprinkling of technasia

8) That's just a stupid thing to say. You can bag out Jewelz all you want but her hard driving style is unparalleled in Melbourne, and it always gets the crowd rocking. Who gives a fuck how hard it is, she has a legion of local fans who always go absolutely psycho whenever she plays. It's her style and it caters for a different taste in trance.

P.S You can bag out Midro all you want because he's a douche bag.

^^ i don't think he was bagging Jewelz, he was just saying its not the best idea putting her on before a trance international .... which i happen to agree with.

i'd lay my body on the altar for jewelz but still don't think shes appropriate before a big trancey super star

on another note..... only 3 and a bit weeks to go!! yay! *happy dance*

^^Oh yeah, sorry, guess I did read into it wrong. My bad.

But her or Midro wouldn't be that bad to put on before some lighter trance was played, just to mix things up a bit.

yeah maybe .... personally i like a softer warm up .... that way you don't kill yourself dancing hard before the main act :)

im not a huge fan of midro .... id prefer jewelz
