Melb - Sat 24th Jan 04 - QBH - Armin Van Burren 6 hour set!

got my ticket yesterday, $47 all up, not too bad for
6 hours of armin

Its the sort of music I totally love, and the way
armin responds to the crowd too... that time
at zos went off!!! and two-tribes... well it was
all worth it... it does pay to get up the front
early tho if u like being right up there.

if this means as much to you as it does to me then
i think it will be one of the best nights i've ever had!
i just hope its not too crowded... does anybody know
if they are going to limit ticket sales or not?

This could have easily been staged at
the tennis centre practice courts (a la GK), but
it was funny last time armin was in town. he
had a gig at zos and the numbers there from
memory were not too high, i didn't feel crowded
at all. a lot of people i know aren't into armin,
but i guess its their loss. i just LOVE it!!! if i was
sending out a probe to outer space like voyager II
or something, armin would be on the little gold record.

Armin played at ZOS after his GK 2002 gig I believe. Since then he played this year at 2T.
I would say they will limit their ticket sales at QBH does not hold an enormous crowd and I have no doubts that Armin will fill it.
Regardless there will be door sales, they always hold a certain amount back for that purpose.
Its going to be like sardines in there, and as much as I love Armin it is doubtful that I will be anywhere near the front for to long at all.

It will rock.

i'd be so down for 6 hours of Armin..but im having trouble getting my head around the venue qbh..
 
hey is it definetly the 24th? i dunno where i saw it but i rmbr seeing the 25th. i gotta go away w\ non-scene friends that weekend so if its on the 25th awesome cos i can come home early with no fights with other mates. If its on the 24th i'll probably still come back early. but i'll get the usual arguments.

ne1 help who has bought a ticket already?

oh yeah not too long now

squashed in like sardines to qbh....but thats ok, because armin is god! (i think we have confirmed this now as his bday is on the 25th)

im just clinging to the hope that future WONT oversell it, and people wont be going out that night because everyone will be out on the sunday because its the long weekend...
 
With a bit of luck, with so many people off to Rainbow Serpent this may not be a sardine fest.:)
