Bluelighter
This was my best and my worst earthcore since attending this event for 5 years in a row. I had a great timne because I wish with a large group of truely great friends and we had a great camp. that said, the organisation of the event was by far the worst ever.
Let me explain:
After travelling 6 hrs to get to earthcore we had to wait in line for 2 hrs. that sucked pretty bad because it was hot and we had run out of booze. after finally making it to the front of the line, we were told that one of tickets we ordered on line did not exist so not all of us could go in. THEY HAD FUCKED UP THE SPELLING OF MY NAME ON THE SHEET BY ONE LETTER SO I WAS NOT ALLOWED IN!!!!!!! after arguing with them for over half an hour, and having one of the dodgy cunts on the gate offer to sell me a ticket for $180 we made our way back to undera. once getting there we found a local who was nice enough to stop his after work drinks and acconpmay us back to his place so we could print off the email with all the tick order info. Thank god for the kindness of some people in this world. so after waiting for another 2 hrs in the line we finally got in!!!!!
Another Bad Note: Spiro you are a useless cunt: where the fuck were GMS and Eskimo. 1200 mics, eskimo, GMS were the main reason I bought a ticket this time and I had been looking forward to seeing thme playing ever since I heard they were booked. It fucking sucked to hear they were not playing only 1 1/2 hours before they were supposed to come on. Instead we had to listen to some whiney wanker crap on for about 10 minutes about why they were not supposed to play. Pull your head out of your arse spiro! for a ticket worth over $100 I hope to get value for money and not miss out on 3 of the top acts.
Final bad point: The Police: the sniffer dogs seemed to be out when I was tripping hard so maybe there were not as many as I thought, but it adds to the paranoia and a general crappy vibe to the event. there seemed to be a greater over all police presence and I notcied them wandering around the camp sites abit.
GOOD POINTS:
The Music: Numinoid/Tsyoshi Suzuki - brilliant as always, saw both sets and they were both mind blowing with the flawless mixing you would expect to see from tsyoshi. it was good to see him getting into it in the last half hour of his set too, as he is normally quite reserved on stage.
1200 mics: even though GMS couldn't make it, raja and the other old dude put on a good show under difficult circumstances. pumping all the way, and its great to see two old guys really enjoying themselves up there.
Siaqua; fucking awesome, loved the dancers too. Mantrix were great also.
John 00 fleming & Nick Sentience: I though they were quite lack lustre and were not really going off much. it was nice to see siaqua upstage the much more experienced nick sentience.
Protoculture: really enjoyed their set on friday, and their set on sunday morning was good too but I was coming down like a tone of bricks.
Hydra stage was by far the best stage at earthcore, always rocking, always packed, I don't know who was playing at 5pm on saturday but I don't think I've ever had so much fun stomping around.
Final good points:
The people - apart from going with some great friends, i met some really cool people. i met the dude in the cowboy hat at mantrix, didn't know you were a bluelighter, we camped next to you last year! also saw the guys in the fezs and swords, loved the outfits!
(edit by leecie: i took out the incriminating stuffs)

- Fatali. I want to have his babies.
Well done to the tech crew on the main floor who managed to pull one out of the bag and get everything running for the main floor on time at 3.30 despite only having power from 2.00. They weren't very happy campers I can tell you.
