November 24 – 26, Undera, Victoria
December 1 – 3, Peak Crossing, Queensland

The countdown is on again for the annual Earthcore Global Carnival, November 24 – 26, Undera, Victoria! A three day summer extravaganza of music, dancing, performances, art, local designer and food markets and much more. A place where love, new friendships and creative inspiration blossom! An alternative music and lifestyle celebration outdoors in the beautiful Australian bush landscape, the way mother nature intended!

For the second time again this year, Earthcore will stage their outdoor summer festival in south east Queensland December 1 – 3, Peak Crossing, as well as northern Victoria. The Queensland event with include some, but not all of the acts playing at the Victorian event.

Earthcore will bring you a double psy trance header with two of the biggest trance acts in the world. GMS a.k.a. Growing Mad Scientists and Chicago will head down under to join the bill and team up with godfather of psychedelia Raja Ram on their 1200 Micrograms live project. 1200 Mics will be launching their brand new release 12 Micrograms – The Remixes.

Raja Ram, GMS and Chicago will each be playing their own massive sets, and you never know, Michele Adamson who’s touring with GMS at the moment and also playing the festival, might even surprise us with some guest vocals. Hmmmm, you hardly hold your excitement? Earthcore is going back to its roots and shaping up to be the best start to summer imaginable.

They join over 20 other international electronic music producers and DJs and an army of local and interstate talent including hard dance and trance kings John 00 Fleming, Nick Sentience, DJ Wag/Yakooza (Traffic Tunes/Germany), Alex Kidd (Nukleuz/UK) and Mark EG; Kompakt label boss and German minimal techno and electro master Michael Mayer; Canadian breaks maestro Miyagi; Peter Hook of legendary early ‘80s outfit New Order; Israeli trance heavyweights Oforia, Fatali, Shulman and Mo-Shic; pioneering downbeat experimentalist Gaudi; TIP World boss and Raja Ram’s main man DJ Lucas; Japan’s masterful Tsuyoshi Suzuki in psy trance and Numenoid tech/electro mode, Byron and Goa trance legend Space Tribe a.ka. Olli Wisdom; trance kings, Eskimo from pioneering UK psy-trance label Phantasm Records, live duo Sirius Isness (Max Peterson & Davina Elmosnino) from Mind Control Records (France), South African Protoculture, vocalist/DJ/producer extrordinaire Michele Adamson who’s worked with Shpongle, Infected Mushroom and many other trance stars, and long standing trance/techno DJ Xavier Morel.

Denmark’s prestigious Iboga Records give us an installment of progressive sounds courtesy of Phony Orphants (live) who rocked the main floor at Earthcore last year, plus individual DJs sets from the boys themselves Jeppe and Emok. New Zealand born live outfits Antix and FREq also showcase their sounds for the label.

Returning for their second coming the Japanese Bonsai Bonanza features Slum (live/Elf music/Japan), Ta-ka (Motherlight Music), Daijiro (Digital Block), Tokage (Sirius Records), Kemix (Sanskara Records) and YK (Psy16).

The Earthcore Global Carnival Victoria will feature this all star line up across six floors including the Monster Mainfloor, Sunny Market, Club 333 with lectroland.com, Screw Crew and Psyclone Posse, Red Bus Electribe Zone, G.O.D, Japanese Bonsai Bonanza and Hydra Trance, plus all the usual madness inducing installations, lightshows, deranged performances, local designer and food markets, an army of local and interstate guests, camping facilities, workshops and fresh air all on 500 acres of prime land.

Queensland gets lucky again, with the Earthcore Global Carnival returning to last year’s tropical Peak Crossing site, just north of Brisbane. Featuring some of the talent from Victorian event, including John OO Fleming, Nick Sentience, Phony Orphants and Michael Mayer, and a very special guest soon to be announced, Earthcore Carnival Queesland will feature a non-stop, open-air, all-star lineup from dusk til dawn over three days, with onsite food and clothing markets, camping, workshops and other festival frolicking!

If you only go to one event this year, then make it the Earthcore Global Carnival – because when the festival’s over and your sneakers are a bit worse for wear, you know you’re gonna spend the next two weeks scraping dirt out from underneath your fingernails and catching up on sleep lost, you will still have all the happy memories, isnpired musical inspiration and maybe a bit of tan to take home with you!

pretty please.

^^ aye. i was about to fume that peter hook had been snipped from the list and start on an anti-spiro tirade until i took a closer look. if there's one act i want to check out, this is it.

Definately looking forward to this, got my ticket already!
will have to see 1200 mics as in 2004 missed most of them coz I was too fucked. I won't make the same mistake this time (probably will be fucked but there is no way I'm missing them).

I'm into psy and was wondering who else you guys would recommend seeing. have seen tsuyoshi, GMS, raja, space tribe before. will probably see all of them again but maybe not space tribe if he clashes with something good. So who would you definately recommend seeing?

Also I hope there is a sprongled set early saturday again, I have very fond acid fused memories of simon's set last EC, is he playing again this year? would love to see him and raja team up for a sunset set.

if you liked shpoongle you will love!!! shulman!

and also protoculture will rock out!

^^ aye. i was about to fume that peter hook had been snipped from the list and start on an anti-spiro tirade until i took a closer look. if there's one act i want to check out, this is it.

Having seen his set on the weekend at Parklife, it's nothing special and it's pretty obvious he doesn't mix well (what sort of DJ doesn't wear headphones??)... but it is a pretty special moment when he drops Love Will Tear Us Apart ;)

siaqua CONGRATS. pity i'll be missing this one this year. i'll be in NYC. be the first one in 6 years i've missed. brings a tear to my eye to think i won't be there.

have a blast guys.
