does anyone have room for two people to get a lift the the event??? we are from northern suburbs but will travel to the city or where ever is needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated?? PM me if possible...

I won't be at the meetup I'll be suduced by the sounds of Tiatto the only LIVE act at NRG this year in my room (shameless plug) at the time BUT I'll be wearing ummm a stripy top, orange tie and a hat of some description if I don't change my mind before 5:30.

i'm still fairly fucked + scattered.....i'm back in wagga now too....so its fair to say i could be better :\

new rave generation = jnr cheese.
i dont mind this... but maybe the new generation could establish their own vibe, not many sub-cultures are cool for a decade, shouldnt rave culture have died yet?
i dont know about you, but i'm due some change, but it seems the cash-in is still rolling! milk it garthy, sif they know!!!! lolololololol

Firstly, why have 4 different rooms all playing the same hard trance/nrg shite. The techno room should actually play techno!

Secondly, what's with the pass outs? Needed a damn map in order to find them. And the bouncers weren't much help. Even they didn't know where they were.

And finally, what happened to the sea of bean bags? Now it's just a pile of hose downable vinyl matresses.

Man, back when I first starting going out...

Sllip- i had no problems finding passouts or nething??? there was supposed to b bean bags??? i thought the music playing was awesome had so wished i could have danced but oh well i still had fun...

omg Smile police put on an awesome fuckin rave i love u guys i had the best time n will b there again next yr.. i cant explain my night it was amazing thank you to the people i meet from bluelight u made it even better thanks for being so nice i cant believe people know me haha... NRG 7 ROCKED

Seriously.. what a joke.

I cannot believe that all the rooms played similar music. The main room was so unbelievably fast it was not funny. I also heard the same track being played multiple times across different dance floors. If we just wanted a NRG night we should have just had one big room.

The decor as usual was very nice and did remind me about the pleazure parties which use to be held a while back.

Guys, do you really like it when they play the music that fast? Are the Djs playing some cruel joke.. Lets see how quickly these mother fuckers can dance..

Sigh.

Oh well.. i guess that's what the people like.. so that's what they'll play
 
^^ yeah three rooms played very similar styles....that was annoying.....would have bee good to hear some more psytrance aswell.....last year there was a dedicated room, which was fucking awesome....and loved the amount of hard house, but too much hard trance, not enough uplifting trance....However, Stevie B's final few tracks (the "one more?" after "one more?" after "one more?") were welcome from my end.....very quick (maybe about 180bpm?), hard, bassy, and dancey....was happy at that point :)

The [electrobot] room was pure fun, well done [electrobot], you succeeded in producing one of the best "escape" rooms at any rave i've been too....great music, smiles all around, chilled/happy atmosphere....was all good :)

Chillout room was alright....beanbags last year were much much better yes, but still this was ok....amount of stalls was appreciated....jumping castle cool as always (line up was a little big)....

Highlights:

Meeting droppin_hardcore82 and the fun, bizarre, awesome antics that followed throughout the night...:)

The Electrobot Room, was very very cool on its own, but as an escape from everything else, it was GOLD!

Hearing (O) Overdrive - Scot Project @ about 5:30am in the Happy Hardcore room, ringing my friend who loves the track, and us both dancing away to the lovely trancey synths that ensued ;)

The afterparty :) Only stayed for a few hours, but the atmosphere was very cool....and got to see Jewelz, which made me happy...and Compound again (damn the poor bastard looked tired!), which was aweosme as he provided a top set earlier in the night too!

Glad i got to meet and re-meet a heap of you guys (1234, propS, che_melbourne, ToM-oOo, droppin_hardcore82, lahlahgatecrasher, KG, Sliip, muzby, and all the others i have forgotten!)....

Lastly I got a msg from some random guy i met that night last night saying that his friend was filiming the entire thing and there is a part with me on there goin nuts dancin...sweet :) Hope i can get a copy....

One of the best parties I've ever been to - keeping the eptas vibe alive at Altona - amazing party!
