hmm strange, didn't see one policeman or hound..

got there around 11.30.

had a fantastic time, though had to work today (7am - 7pm).. %)
 
I wasn't there but curious to hear how people found Cosmic Gate in the early hours? I saw them at GK in 2003 at 7am-8am....was brilliant....it's one of my few top memories from that party....

Hope you all had a brill time...
 
I don't remember any of the DJ's or any of the songs they played *Post edited. Read the guidelines with what you can and cant post. Also remember BL is a site thats available for anyone to read. it was great to meet trancegirle by total coincidence - what a honey she is!!

there were soooooo many cops and dogs ..... totally spooked the crowd

besides that had a great time ..... music was great, vibe improved over the evening as well

All in all a great time had by all
 
Was a fun night! exceeded my expectations:)

I absolutely loved above & beyonds set, cosmic gate wasnt what i expected & i thought they would play more harder stuff it being towards the end of the night and all but they were still good.

Had to "subtly" speed walk past the sniffer dogs that were hanging round right were you go in. bloody hell didnt expect them to be right there.
It was funny seeing the line right near the cops so short & the one over the other side absolutely huge.

It was awesome running into you too princess kitti! What a Lovely girl! so happy actually got to meet you!
still cant believe i ran into you in that massive crowd & thought to ask haha - great coincidence=D
Definently hope to run into you again some time! Think you would be heaps fun to hang out with
 
Eddie Halliwell fucken rocked it, best set by far for the night.

What happend in the Magic room did they blow the speakers or something?
 
Glad you had fun kiddies and partied safely =D The paper today was postive about there being no od's or serious incidents. Try to remember the sniffer dogs and police are there for your protection and are doing their job just like you and me all do :)
 
sniffer dogs were gone by 11ish, mates seen 10 people get takin to the bus in the 5 mins they spent in line at about 10oclock, martt hardwick was shocking, couldnt beatmatch, magik room was such a dissapointment, i was hanging out to see fijneman rock it but i think scott alert blew the speakers with his hardstyle.. eddie halliwell is a fuckin legend, like i said before he was worth the ticket alone, got the crowd g'd right up.. cosmic gate started pretty average then went to be a fkn disgrace, anyone hear the guitar solo? like wtf.. its a rave not a country music festival, but they ended good, exploration of space and the drums got everyone rocking till the final minutes.. finally, mass respect to joachim garraud for playing 'the world is mine' and to eddie halliwell for giving us the craziest set rod laver has ever seen and signing my t-shirt, hope everyone had as much fun as i did

Got a photo with Eddie and signed mates shirt. He was amazing, A&B and Cosmic gate sucked bad. im pretty sure they blew the speakers in the Magic room, we were in there at the begging and they were making weird sounds.

Sniffer dogs were there after 12 man, i think they just had breaks every now and then. i saw them personally once at 12:15 and once at about 1.
 
Eddie halliwell played an awesome set when i saw him gk 2004, didnt think was as good this year tho, guess i was just expecting more.

Had a great night - so did all my friends!

As usual the crowd was a real MIXED BAG OF LOLLIES - Clubbers, Ravers, drunks, techno bogans, old jaded ravers, a few middle aged people, first timers (met about 3 that night!), very quiet asians, a few indians, and a fair amount of straight people.

The music : Steve Strangis was boring - the first time i have never liked one of his sets.

Matt Hardwicks uplifting trance was amazing - my friends and I have waited years to hear a set like his. He made the room so positive and happy - even the marios/muzzas were smiling and not elbowing everyone for once.

Above and Beyond were great! I found them really boring a year or two ago, but they just played just really nice trance which is exactly what my friends and I wanted.

The Magic room seemed dead at 3.30 am - it is too big a space for rave CLUB music.

The Wetmusic room was not happening at 3am but my Girl Friend and i loved Kevins old skool set even thou only about 20 people were dancing !

The house room seemed packed and going off with the usual beautiful pretentious people it usually attracts.

I kept poking my head in the Young guns room through the night and kept hearing different kinds of good music.

Over all a really good night, although a few too many HEROS with super muscley bodys - at one stage i was hugging my girl friends in Rod Laver, and a very short and muscley HERO with no top on grabbed my girl friend from behind and started grinding her ass with his groid HARD, and i had to push him off with all my strength as he seemed to be completly out of it and not comprehending at all - i really wish stuff like that did not happen, but uplifting trance always seems to attract dickheads like this.

At 4.30 we left very satisfied.

matt hardwick played shit imo, and everyone ive spoke to and the people i went with (2 of which are dj's) hated his set, like i said his mixing needs a lot of work, he was off time with his mixing it sounded very amatuer, but i agree on the heros, didnt have a run in with any of em but a few of em need to lay off the roids they were way too fuckin big, thats what keeps most of the attractive girls out of the main arena and in the house room..

you dont get it - you are using your head to come to that conclusion - my friends and I are using our hearts.

my friends and I dont care one bit if he can beat mix or not - i just care that each song he played was a really good uplifting trance track, and had me putting my hands in the air, and hugging my friends and girlfriend, and putting a big stupid grin on my face, and having fun with lots of strangers with rave toys - that is what's important to me.

Sorry i am not one of those cool uptight controlling types who is listening for any mistake in the mixing - they have OCD and need professional help in my opinion!

Mate if you did not like his set, then there was 4 other rooms to go to - so stop whinging!

and i personally know a few bedroom DJ's and i never listen to their opinion - most of them are completely burnt out by listening to way too much electronic music - and most of them are jaded as all fuck, so i could not care at all what your DJ friends said.

I loved it - you didnt - go to another room next time!

Are you sure it wasn't the drugs that was causing you to act like that? Or do you put your hands in the air and play with rave toys everytime you hear an uplifting trance track?
