MEGAMIX-Acid/LSD Newbie Questions

Im afraid I will probably never have the chance to even attempt a thumbprint hit. And if I did, I dont know If id take it. Wowowow after all these years still, just the thought of it blows me away.

And oops I have gone off topic once again, hehehe
 
Can I get a one-post answer to this... because it's not worth starting a new thread... what is a thumbprint as opposed to a stamp?
 
A thumb print is where you put your thumb into a thin layer of LSD crystals - equaling several thousand doses - and eat it all by yourself. Make sure you don't have any plans for the weekend =D

That would certainly be several thousand doses, fuck! That'd be a longer trip than a weekend......
 
I'm happily proven wrong, but I understood LSD dosage was linked more to intensity of experience and less to do with duration...? And I thought there was a ceiling to the effects of LSD, meaning that once the dose is above a certain level, no increase in effect is noticed...?
 
I'm not sure on that since such huge doses are uncommon - but the reports I have seen from people claiming to have tried such madness usually indicate several days of complete insanity followed by a long period of coming to terms with the experience =D

fortunately, LSD doses plateau in psychoactivity. So in effect, if you "swallow a vile of acid", or do a "thumbprint", you're not going to trip much harder than taking a 500-600 mic dose.

Very untrue. I have personally met 3 people (older hippies - mostly toured with the Dead or were around the 'scene' in that point in time) who have thumbprinted doses of approximately 7,500 - 8,000 hits. The effect is in reality, hundreds and hundreds of more times powerful than a 500-600 mic dose. It is pretty much a 16-hour intense trip where no normal everyday functions are able to take place (no eating drinking, bathroom? unknown), with about 5-7 days afterward of needing to be taken care of. Everyone who has thumbprinted in my experience has said that you 'never really fully come down'. It changes you forever, and rightfully so, that many mics of LSD is no joke by any circumstance. Quoted from a member of another website who has taken that high of a dose multiple times, "Its the closest you can come to death and reincarnation without actually dying". I dont know if id be up for that.

Sorry to be off topic once again. Hopefully it doesnt matter since its drug basics, but if it does, move this post :p A Thumbprint thread would be cool.
 
Whilst initially physically it causes no harm,
it can harm the subtle anatomy of the body's

How often this happens, and whether harm
(physically) is caused would be related to the

Well, quite a while ago there were publications stating the amount of LSD in many different types of hits, apparently. Like pillreports, but with dosage information as well.
 
how to take acid

I know this is probably the stupidest question.. but i was wondering how you take acid? How do you take the liquid blotter things, do you eat them or take the paper off or what? And the gell sheets.. how exactly do u take it? Thanks.. sorry if this sounds like a stupid question.
 
Eat 'em, lsd is pretty active orally. Some people think if you let them sit against the inside of your lip for a bit before swallowing the trip will come on faster but I haven't found that to be the case all of the time.
 
If you get liquid watch out how much you take, you might want someone whos had prior experiance with acid to try it out first and tell ya how much to take or just take a really small amount your first time.
 
My friends and I have talked about this before, what is the best way to take acid. I always put it (the tab) under my tongue for 10-15 minutes and then swallow it. Some people just swallow it from the get go. I have never had liquid, but that is strait in the mouth. And if it is a gel cap or microdot, just swallow away.

Liquid and blotter are two separate things.

Liquid is liquid drops, like from a sweetbreath breath freshener. Absorbs instantly on the tongue. It's customary to administer the drop(s) onto your hand first so you don't overdose yourself

Blotter is a certain kind of (watercolor?) paper that has been soaked in a solution containing LSD. Stick it on your tongue, or do like I do and place it between your lip and gum. I don't know if it makes the onset more rapid or not, but why take changes when it's so rare these days. :)

Gel a gelatenous solution that disolves pretty rapidly on the tongue

first time acid user

im a first time acid user and i wanna know what i should expect when i take my ver first hit... lol

what is the body high like? is there and enhancment to sound like there is with pills or sometimes shrooms? what else should i be prepared for...

i cant find any info on this... i did do a search on bluelight but 1,000's of posts poped up and i didnt know where to start looking... so here i go... this is my question... thanx for any help
 
DREAMSAREFREE --> Just a clarification. To my understanding "blotter paper" is not watercolour (yes, the "u" is there for Canadians :P), but just what they call it... blotter paper!

Back before we had our nice and convenient ball-point pens and such, one would often get globs of ink when writing "dipped-in-ink" style, and therefore would place a sheet of "blotter paper", which was highly absorbent, on the writing after finishing to absorb any excess ink. Of course I'm sure these days blotter paper for acid is substituted for the real deal.
