[Mega] The "Why won't MDMA work for me?" thread

how do you know it contained 200mg? did you have it lab tested?
if you just looked it up on the internet, it could well be a copy cat press. or sometimes there is significant variation between different pills of the same batch (some test 170mg and some test 250 or something like that...)

1. the normal dose range is 1-2mg/kg. so with 105kg 100mg would be below that window.
2. possible, especially since you dosed so low.
3. extremely unlikely except if you're on antidepressants or had been on antidepressants for extended periods of time.
4. no way. i'm also rather an introvert observer and i surely dance every time and did hug random people every now and then.
5. possible, but surely it would at most be a minor reason here. still, being in a stimulating environment (and a bar definitely isn't stimulating either) surely helps.
6. mdma is extraordinarily stable, it's still fine if stored for years at room temperature.
 
Thanks for your response. I had it lab tested, yes. I'm not or have not been on anti-depressants.
 
then you most likely have simply dosed too low. 120-150mg at once should do you fine.

since mdma takes around 45 (sometimes a little over 60) minutes to hit you, hitting the right spot with redosing is potentially tricky (although redosing at the 1h mark is usually fine). redosing 1.5-2h after dropping, while also increasing the effects, is rather a usual way to lengthen the experience, and redosing earlier than one hour can have you flying a bit higher than intended (which most of the time is not a huge problem if you're not talking about taking another whole 100mg+ pill).
so my preferred way of crossing that threshold if i have underdosed is snorting a little bit. 5-15 minutes is a way shorter wait and allows for more accurate dosing.
 
somewhere where loud electronic music is playing, with at least some of the other people rolling and everyone being ok with others doing drugs. it's much more pleasant when you don't have to hide your high from others and can do what you want without anyone looking down upon you. relative darkness can also make things more interesting.

so, basically anything from a small gathering of friends to a rave :)

of course people say that being at home with your significant other is an equally good environment, but i haven't yet had the chance to try that.
 
Hi! I've got a problem. I'm 15 and i tryed a lot of times weed, hash, dxm and dimenhydrinate and all went good. Now, yesterday i bought a lot of crystal MDMA (really, a lot of money..) and yesterday night, i tryed it. I can't test it, i can't now if it is mdma. But i know the guy who selled me this, and he's ok. It sells really good weed, so.. however, yesterday at 11:20 pm i snort something like 0.1, and i feeled just a little buzz for 30 min. At 11:30 pm i put something like 0.25 in a rolling paper and i eat it. No effects at all, so at 00:25 am i eated again in a rolling paper another 0.15. No effects again. I went to bed at 2:30 with no effects. I had vivid dreams, usually i NEVER (trust me, never) remember dreams. The morning was ok, just a little bit tired, but no more. Now, i've got another 0.5 that i want to try this night. I asked to my dealer why this mdma had no effects on me, he said that he tryed the same mdma and he was fucked up. I'm not on prescription med, no other drugs (last joint about 1 week ago) and i haven't had dinner before eating the mdma. What i have to do this night? Help me guys, i really spent a lot of money for this..

I'm in the same situation as the previous poster. I've done MDMA three times now, with almost no effect. First time was 50mg, other two were 200mg each. Crystal form, and got the last dose from a different source just in case the first one was bogus. The only effect I noticed was about 6 hours after taking it, feeling good, relaxed, but nothing more than that.

I was on antidepressants which I got off of days before the second attempt. I was off of them for three weeks before the third attempt, and that should have been enough time to clear my system. So I am also guessing I am a non-responder, and will probably try some other substance next time. Any other thoughts on this experience would be appreciated.

PS I doubt age has anything to do with it, but I'm 65, and weigh 160 lbs.

It could take quite a while without antidepressants for your brain to fully rebalance itself. I'd try MDMA again after being off meds for a few months or more... But obviously if you rely on these meds it's not advised for you to stop them simply to use drugs.
 
Any resolution?

Did you ever find anything that made it work, or find out what the problem was? This sounds exactly like what happened to me.

okay so my pill count is easily in the +10's maybe 20's and i have never EVER felt happy when taking ecstasy. My pupils will get dialated and people will say that "i look like im rolling" but it doesent feel significant in any way.

first time i took ecstasy i took 1/2 half of a red mercedes, smoked some weed before taking. felt absolutely nothing

third time i took 1 pink chanel. felt nothing but couldnt sleep till 4 am

4th time i rolled i was stupid coz i was frustrated about not feeling anything i took 3 orange/peach transformers in hopes of feeling anything. got crazy pupil dialation and jaw clenches but nothing more and couldnt sleep till about 5 am.

5th time rolling i double dropped 2 more orange transformers and still didnt feel anything other then pupil dialation.

6th time rolling (by far the best so far) i took 1 purple euro pokeball. didnt feel too happy but i got some eye wiggles pupil dialation and was in a good mood the whole day.

i dont take adderal daily or any medication like that (though i have taken it before)
i used to smoke heroin but have quit for a few months and i also used to do a lot of blow but i have quuit that for a while too.

im just wondering if its possible to be immune to ecstasy so i can stop wasting my money on trying to feel it.

So today at around 8pm(it's 3am right now) I was with two of my friends at my house, we had a bag of .6 of pure Molly. None of us ever did Molly before but knew what to expect and knew how to take it and knew the general background around it. It wasn't capsules or pill form, it was these tanish rocks that you break up into powder. So at 8 we split the .6 into thirds so .2 each which is what people "roll" off of. I crushed it up into powder, and we had three water bottles half full each. We put each of our doses in our seperate bottles, shook it up until the water was clear and it was dissolved and then chugged it down. In about 45 min they were rolling like crazy and talking and feeling good and talking about it etc. I wasn't rolling. All I felt was a few chills, then got really hot Outta no where, then cold again and on and on. My stomach felt a little nauseous but not to bad that I couldn't handle it. My stomach was kinda empty but not to empty, I came back from the gym at 7:30ish and ate a yogurt and an apple. then after the 45, another hour passed and it was 10. They were rolling even harder and we're feeling there heads and just feeling stuff cause it felt good and they were talking about the crazy graphics or something on the tv(cause I was playing Forza Horizon) I had just started playing tho, I was laying down and watching my friend play and on my phone before that cause I was waiting for it to hit. They were rolling and I was still feeling the same effects as before, I looked in the mirror and my pupils were huge in the darker and then got tiny when the lights came on. Since I didn't feel anything else yet, my friend had a little more on him so I mixed about .1 in 1/4 of a water bottle and chugged that. Another hour passed and I didn't feel different. Still the same effects(chills, randomly hot, a little happy, stomach feeling a little weird) my friends were still rolling. I then texted my friend that has done Molly before and asked him how long it took for him the first time and told him my problem and he thought it was the weirdest thing.he told me to drink OJ cause I guess it increases it and makes it come faster, I drank a cup but still felt the same. I am 17 years old, 5'6, 145 lbs, go to the gym and "lift" heavy pretty much everyday. I don't have asthma or have any allergies and I don't take any medication or pills. I smoke weed everyday. Around January, I took a "klonopin". 1 pill of that had me high af like I just smoked a blunt to myself. That was before I started working out. I started working out in April and never tried klonopins again until two weeks ago. My dealer finally got more so I bought 10 cause I remember how good they were. I took two with water, waited two hours and didn't feel anything. I took two more, and spliced a blunt with two more. I have noticed I don't really get high when I smoke weed and if I do, it only lasts for about an hour then im sober. Thats probably because I built a tolerance for it tho like I've heard. That's not the point. The point is my high went away after about an hour and I didn't feel high anymore and I took 6 klonopins not 1! And my friend the next day took one and gave me two in school and we took it at the same time and he was mad high and I didn't feel anything once again so they weren't "bad". So Does me working out now have anything or everything to do with it? I have a waaaay higher tolerance cause my metabolism is to high now or something? Someone that actually knows a good helpful answer please comment cause I wanna be able to "roll" haha
 
You got junk bunk pills bro. Take a piss test if you can't get off on em. If you don't piss dirty afta bring it to tour dealer and slap his sista.

Didn't test your drugs I'm guessing? 200mg should be more then enough your first time. I'm saying bad product
 
If "MDMA isn't working for you" it most likely isn't real MDMA or you've been abusing MDMA far too much. Also, as mentioned many times before, most "Molly" sold in the U.S. is just an RC (usually bk-MDMA/Methylone). It's unfortunate, because there's nothing that compares to the warm, tactile, empathogenic magic of MDMA/MDA. It's been so long since I've had real MDxx tabs, my favorite being the combination of MDMA + MDA (adds a lot of psychedelia to the warm, loving euphoria of MDMA).

Also, if you're on SSRI's/SNRI's or other AD's/anti-psychotics that interfere with the desired effects of MDxx compounds.
 
hi again, I have another question, partly because of some information I was given that I'm not sure is true. about two months ago I rolled with a friend, each of us taking 1 tablet of ecstasy, both the same press from the same source. he rolled normally, but I seemed to get stuck in sort of an eternal come up for a while, never rolling, and eventually ended up in pretty unpleasant distress. my heart felt overtaxed, he couldn't get up and dance to music without me getting out of breath, we couldn't play fast music, only slow, because otherwise I'd get so exhausted I could barely breathe, even though I was lying down the entire night. I told this to someone I know who has a lot of knowledge about MDMA, and they said it was possible that the pill was actually too high a dosage for my body and that was why I didn't roll, because my body couldn't handle it. I'd had the same press from the same source (though no guarantee it was the same batch, of course) on another occasion and rolled normally, the only difference was that on this night I'd been to the gym earlier (very light workout) and hadn't eaten a lot, but I've rolled on a completely empty stomach before and while it wasn't super pleasant, I still rolled. this time I experienced literally nothing except difficulty breathing enough, exhausted heart feelings, and weakness.

so...is it really possible to ingest so much MDMA that it causes only physical distress and no mental effects? I feel like it could be because, for example, the first time I had an edible I had way too much and within less than half an hour went from zero to "oh wow I'm so high it's frightening" to "I am probably going to throw up and die immediately" with absolutely no pleasant medium at all, but I'm not sure if something like MDMA would work in the same way.

edit: forgot to mention, it had been I think almost two months since the last time I rolled when this happened, and that's the usual amount of time I wait and have successful rolls, so it wasn't an issue of taking pills too close together

I think you should take .25 gs, that's about 2.5 capsules/points...eat 3 hours before and exercise 30 minutes before. Like light jogging. Then drink some orange juice 45 minutes after taking it. Always buy from someone you trust. You never know what someone would give you.
 
I'd exercise 30 minutes after taking it for about ten minutes. Eat 3-6 hours before. Sip some orange juice 45 minutes after taking it. Take about .25 gs of it. You should feel it. Also, smoke some weed or take a few shots before...so that way you don't psych yourself out of getting high. Just be patient. Sometimes it takes people 3 hours to feel anything.
 
Drink orange juice, take tums, do some light exercise before and after(10-30) minutes. Try eating a snack 15 minutes after. Like a small bag of chips or something. You might throw up or feel nauseous on the come up, but it's worth it.
 
I'd say, to not drink more than like two shots or one beer before. Drink some oj and water before. Eat 15 minutes after taking, she might get nauseous and throw up, depending on how weak her stomach is, but it's worth it. Parachute the Molly, that means don't take it in a capsule, take it in a tissue or paper towel. Take some tums. Also, try exercising 10-20 minutes after taking it. Also try a higher dose. I'm an experienced user and I use every few weeks to a month. And I use .25 gs which is 3 points and it doesn't really work on me for the first couple hours. Just be patient. also, she might be mind blocking. Which is keeping herself from getting high wodnering when it'll work. So smoke a joint or take a few shots of alcohol before and it'll help. Have fun and be safe.
