Opioids Mega Merged: Ultimate poppy pod/seed tea thread - Part II

I posted these questions in the Suboxone/Bupe thread, but the responders didn't have specific/firsthand knowledge of pods. I'm hoping this thread might have more info.

Let's say someone is physically dependent on pods. Let's say they dose raw grounds 1-2 times daily. Let's also say that they want to try Suboxone while only waiting 24 hours max since the last pod dose. Should they just forget about it and give the Suboxone back to their friend? If they feel like shit after taking it, will they be able to take a pod dose and feel fine again? Basically, is there a safe way to recreationally dose on Suboxone without interrupting a pod schedule by more than 24 hours? Thanks, all!

The last two times I've had pod tea, I started twitching a bit. This was also after smokig weed. Does anyone else twitch from ppt?

No but I have been a little twitchy before from pot alone.

Mango, as far as I know the seeds from pods will not be very effective because they do not get much morphine on them when they are inside of the pod.

Store bought seeds are often drilled out of the pod when they collect them and get "contaminated" with sap from the poppies which is why you can make seed tea with certain brands of store purchased ones.

So are the seeds I have no use? Should I just throw them away?

If I am pretty high I do in fact twitch occasionally, both from PPT and cannabis.

Unless you plan to do what Ranimal suggests, then I should think there really isn't much you can do with them. I personally throw mine out.

I wanted to comment about the "twitching" after you had the tea & pot.

Although pot has made me twitch before (very seldomly) a lot of tea users often overlook the amount of SUGAR they're consuming when they craft.

I use to go through 2lbs of sugar a week and because my fathers diabetic I started getting concerned (even though I work out and run I know I'm genetically prone).
But I noticed sometimes when I made my tea real sweet, around 3 hours after (when I'd be at my peak) it seemed my blood sugar would start to drop and I'd get shakey/twitchy.

So if the twitching starts to become a problem look at how much actual sugar youre taking in. You can even supplement splenda if need be.

you know i never thought of this, but usually when i take a large dose and im nice and high ill get this.

normally ill be laying on the couch watching tv, with or without weed, and my legs will jump out of nowhere. its almost like the RLS you get with WD only it doesn't hurt.

its pretty annoying. i actually had it happen to me 3-4 times last night.

I must admit that I use ridiculous amounts of sugar in my tea, I cannot stomach it any other way. The twitching depends entirely upon my tolerance and how high I actually am from the tea. In fact, the twitching seems to go away for me once I build up a bit of a tolerance. Hasnt happened to me at all lately even though I have been using more sugar than ever.

No one has anything to say about using Suboxone with a pod habit?

Why would you want to use Suboxone with pods? It doesn't make any sense at all. Sub is a partial opiod agonist while pods are a full agonist. Suboxone does nothing but fuck a good high up. Why you would want to mix the two, I don't know

I don't want to mix the two. I'm asking if I can try the suboxone 24 hours after the last pod dose without going into withdrawal. It sounds like I can't.

Personally I would just try it and see. If you start to go into withdrawal around 24 hours I would think that you would be okay. I have read in other places that people are often overly concerned about being thrown into withdrawal, but I cannot verify because I don't think I ever took suboxone at the 24 hour mark. I would also hate to be the one responsible for throwing someone into withdrawal :\

I took suboxone around the 48 hour mark because that is when I start to go into REAL withdrawals, the 24 hour mark is a cakewalk for me.

Apparently i've been wasting my pods or something. or maybe i just managed to drop my tolerance by 50% in a weeks time.

a few weeks back i was doing 1/2 cup mid day and 1/2 cup around midnight, always eaten. for a week or so i was doing a cup at midnight. 2 weeks ago i was out of money and pods, so i was basically scraping by. i let myself get sick when i could afford to and tried whatever i could do to not be sick for work. this went on for 4-5 days and then i got paid.

now though, i only use 1/4 cup of pods twice a day. once a day wont really hold me till the next day and it seems to take me more to get a buzz when im sick, so i usually do a 1/4 cup early, around 12-3 PM, and 1/4 later around 11 or 12.

i've been getting higher off these 1/4 cups then i've been off 1.5 cups. i feel like i've been wasting my pods when i ate that much. i dont know if i did or not but i was eating a lot of powder, so maybe a lot of the goodies didn't work with all that crap in my stomach.

i did start smoking weed again, but onyl at night. 1 bowl on top of my normal dose will get me nodding harder then if i tripled the dose and didn't smoke. still though, during the day i definately feel high. it really comes down to the pods.

just thought i should share that :) i did a lot of complaining in this thread about how i wasn't getting high with large amounts, and now i am with small amounts, so im happy.

...just now learned about the Ebay thing....looking to stock up before the gestapo ruins it for good.

Can somebody hook me up with a recommendation for a seller?

Thanks.

^about the ebay & paypal thing, kratom sellers are also removed since about 10 days ago, seems like they're onto something...
next up... my guess is salvia...

I hope you're really blending that into a fine, fine powder before eating 2-3 cups of plant roughage. We're not cattle. You can get inflamed appendix or intestines from eating too much grit.

To what extend is this true? Recently I haven't had access to a blender so I've been crushing up the pods by hand. Admittedly, the resulting mixture is not very "fine" at all. Is it bad to eat that?

i too would like to know about the dangers. now i'm eating 1/2 cup a day, always has been ground into powder, but i still have no idea if im hurting my body. am i gonna have my appendix burst or something and end up with a 500k hospital bill because i have no insurance?

seriously though, is an enflamed appendix/intestine or anything else a concern when eating raw grounds? last time i read that post i thought nothing about it. now for some reason i just got really worried.

I wouldn't be too worried if you're grinding the pods to a fine powder. However, if you are eating straight grounds that are a bit chunky, I could see this being dangerous over time. Just get a new blender.

I've got two words for you and they ain't pleasant: anal fissure.

It's not actually a serious health risk but it is nonetheless every motherfucking bit as miserable and uncomfortable as it sounds ;)

A good blender or food processor is a must when consuming pod grounds, lest you suffer the fate mentioned above.
