Normally i may make something close to a total of 50 pods for a batch.(the smaller ones) And it is a descent tea. The Giganthium pods or w/e are so huge no other pods can compare. Literally. You can take 7 pods and the tea is freaking dank. The pods i have been using lately are not nearly as big at all. 7 of those and i was dope sick the next day.

I used to take 280g every two days (it used to fill a god damn bucket and took me hours to prepare). I'm now on 60mg methadone per day. Oh, and it wasn't weak stuff. Wierd.

I honestly am not dicksizing. It's actually quite embarassing that I voluntarily spent so much money on flower pods.
 
well, i got through that withdrawal and got money afterwards, so i got more.

my tolerance dropped quite a bit, and i wasn't planning on quitting at the time really, i just ran outta money. i was getting a little out of hand though when i was getting high. i kept using 2x what i normally used and eventually my tolerance went up really fast. im keeping my dose consistent for the time now

it takes me half a cup to get high now, sometimes less. my last box was XX dollars and it has enough for 6 doses. before i was only getting 2 1/2 - 3 doses for that much

I was going to post this in its own thread to get an answer fast but thought better of it, so I'll ask here. As part of a extraction procedure I am procuring a 55-gallon oil drum from my local scrapyard for a decent price of £35 (I don't want to get into the specifics of the procedure), but they said it had previousy been used to store engine oil. I am wondering, if I were to add a diluted solvent e.g. cheap denatured alcohol to clean it out, could I get rid of enough of the residue for it to be safe enough to use? I really don't want to waste money on something I can't use but I only found out about it just now and need an answer quick if that is at all possible. Thanks.
 
maybe go with the denatured alcohol and really be tedious about gettin in there with a wire brush and scrubbin that bitch down. dont be lazy about it, if that thing had engine oil it in and you gonna put the end product into your body you have to be care, maybe you shouldn't do it, but if you must really get in there and get it good, hell get in there with a belt sander and sand off a small layer inside. whatever you do, if your gonna use CLEAN THE FUCK OUTTA IT, dont be lazy or just do a couple washes, make that mother fucker shine


also consider just buying a plastic clean new 50 gallon drum off the internet

I work in a metal cutting industry and we reuse those drums all the time. Clean them with mineral spirits usually. Takes about five gallons or so. Use it one gallon at a time when cleaning, so at the end you are cleaning with brand new solvent so as not to leave trace behind.

We re-use the drums to store metal chips in. I wouldn't feel safe trying to use it for something you plan on ingesting.

I really would recommend not using an old oil drum for this.
 
Actually I'll be missing out that last step (should've made that clear I guess). It's just a glorified alternative to pod tea really i.e. an extraction. There will be no synthesis whatsoever, despite the complexity of what I will be attempting. Is this a problem or was it just that I was misleading?
 
Maybe get some large five or ten gallon food service buckets to use.

At least then you know they are safe to use.

that includes 90% of the people growing them.


In the summer, people have busted me harvesting poppies from their front gardens.

to be honest i dont even know what they look like fresh so i wouldnt know...but ive had a flower box on the side of my house that gets over grow every year im thinking of just droppin some there.


any suggestions on when the best time to plant ?

Poppy pods are very versatile, and hence are capable of growing in many environments. As long as you live somewhere without extreme conditions (Extreme cold, heat, etc.., you should be able to plant them at any time of year. Ideal would be around spring in most regions.

I have many pods growing right out back. I've had many cars and cops drive right past them going down the ally and no one has noticed. But do not brag about them... All it takes is one phone call to the cops from someone that is mad at you and they'll be removed. And if they have cuts on the pods from milking them you'll probably go straight to jail.

I have fresh pods growing and over the past two days I've seen little black spots appearing on them. It can be wiped off with my finger, but I would like to know if it is, in fact, some type of mold. Also, in the past week we have had large amounts of rain.

I'd say no. Even if you did clean it up as much as humanly possible, it will still contain Codeine. I believe that is not safe to inject; although, I've read about people doing it and loving it.
 
as far as those little black dots while growing i noticed that those occured when the pistils touched the pod or stayed stuck to the pod when the flower opened up, they are no big deal. if your petals and pistils have fallen off then the black dots came then i dunno what to tell you

I think you may be right. They only appeared on the ones that just lost their petals and 'pistils'. Thanks.
