Technical Problem [MEGA IMG ISSUES] Problems using the IMAGE BUTTON: "Invalid URL"

The "Insert Image" function

Hiyer all great people of Support :)
Hope yer all doing good.

To my tech-prob: When one wants to insert an image, the little pop-up appears and asks you to enter the URL.
When one has done this it always says, regardless, that it's an "Invalid URL"

I've had others in EADD wonder as to the cause of this.
It can be defeated by simply typing out "
url]...
" but I thought, incase it's not been brought to your attention, that it exists ;)

Hope something can be done to fix this and I wish you luck in doing so :)
Cheers!

We're aware of the issue.. it's on the list of things to fix

annoying I know.. but typing it out is the only way atm

Yea I still cant get any pics to load, i dont know what im doing wrong. Tried pretty much everything i could think of. Any idea when this is going to get fixed?

Yes, I'm finding the same difficulty. I'm glad this thread is up and fresh, because it just made my whole BL experience come back to life. I'm going to go TRY AGAIN to post a pic.

What image hosting website are you guys using? I use imageshack, and paste the forum code onto here, and have not had a problem uploading pictures from there. The forum code includes the IMG tags already.

Merged.

The problem is not necessarily with your host, it's simply to do with script that pops up when you use the following button:

Simple solution: type the [img][/img] manually.

Some hosts (such as tinypic, imageshack and photobucket) already provide direct links to hosted files with the [img][/img] tags added for your copy-pasting convenience.

I've tried using photobucket and imageshack both, cant get either to work, added the
and still cant get it. Starting to feel like a forum noob. Any intention of fixing this mods? Thanks for the support here, it was so easy before to post pics, now its a hassle, for me at least. thanks for listening-

just type the URL in your next reply and post it here, so it can be looked into.

there is also the possibility that it is, in fact, an invalid URL.

Awesome Felix thanks for the help! But fuck just tried to test it by copying this script from your post:
gonzolsdprint.jpg

and pasting it in the url space and its still giving me the invalid url message. Am i retarded or my computer?....I hope its my computer.
