Tiny roots are starting to show out the bottom.....What do you mean by rooting her?How do i increase root growth???lots of nitrogen?
If you see roots, you are actually already starting to root her. But if she is simply submerged in a glass of water, I would advice a couple things here. Change the medium she is sitting in. As in, don't let the roots be completely submerged in a glass of water (but do keep the humidity extremely high). The roots need aeration or they will die off too. There are a number of mediums to choose from here.

You can take that glass of water and put peat moss in it or even perlite. Then stick the cutting (crown) into the peat moss or perlite so the roots have a place to grow that is not directly under water. A shallow pool of water at the bottom of the glass should be enough to keep the humidity up to 80%. If you can control the temp, have her at about 80 degrees F. Keep her at these levels for 10 days and you should have positive results with your root growth.

Also, put her under 24/7 lighting. While rooting, you never want a dark period. When she has healthy roots you can transplant and put her back under 12/12.

A good way to root cuttings is to get either some perlite or some silver sand. Mix either 50/50 with peat or peat moss or compost. The silver sand or perlite gives it a very open free draining texture and allows easy rooting.

Just make sure you make sure to mix garden lime or dolomite lime preferably with the peat/peat moss as the peat is naturally very acidic in pH, which needs to be raised to pH 6.6 ish.

My greenhouse is virtually put up fully now. I just need to do some minor things to it and then clad it and it'll be done.

Because my tomatoes, chillis, strawberries and other fruit/veggies have germinated inside my tent indoors, I plan to move them to the greenhouse. About now is when they can safely go in the greenhouse and be okay temperature and light levels/photoperiod wise.

The two cannabis strains I'm buying on the 12th are Frisian Dew and Headband. They'll come with a shit load of freebie autos which I plan to also grow, guerrilla style!! This is so exciting. No more paying silly prices for an artificial sun. I now get free, real sunlight, of which there's no true substitute.

Curing it might make the smell come back a little, however I think customers care more about how it looks than how it smells.

Is that compost you've got under those clay pebbles? What medium is it?

How old are they?

If it is compost, then you should treat it very differently to hydroponics.

Sticky fly traps work well. They must be there for a reason though. Have you got any rubbish or food out that they're being attracted to? Are you sure they're flies? They shouldn't pose an immediate threat.

Cheers AE. No havnt got any rubbish or food in there, I even cleaned the room a couple of days ago and there still there. will get a sticky trap today though.

can someone give me some info on the strains ghani squaw, iron horse or alpha kush?
i know the kush info will probably not be out there but i was hoping someone had some info on the strains because i got them basically from a shady stranger, so i was wondering if they are actual strain names

I was thinkin about getting a uv light but i cant afford it right now, this room has me financially fucked at the moment but it will pay off;)

^ I bought a small one from B&Q for *cheap*. You can get more expensive, more powerful ones but in the meantime a small cheap one would do.

If you go to a larger hardware store like B&Q here in the UK you'll find lots of solutions to fly infestations (not just UV lights and sticky traps).

I doubt they are what he said they are. TBH, unless I got labelled weed from a reputable online seed dealer, I would have to assume it's just some random bag seed that could be anything, and almost certainly won't be F1 seeds.

AE,
medium is sri-lanka coco coir mixed with perlite/silca rock.
i dont think thats compost is it?? pretty sure thats classified as a hydroponic medium.
in the photo there at day 4 after 2 weeks of rooting.

Ah, okay, my bad (couldn't tell from the photo). Although because coco contains millions of tiny micro-pores, it's ability to hold air but also drain easily is exceptional, so you could probably drop the perlite from the medium, as it's just taking up space (roots don't grow through perlite, they grow around it), however that's another point.

Are you using coco nutrients? If not, I would make the switch to coco nutrients since coco has a different cation exchange capacity and so does marginally better with nutrients made for coco coir specifically.

Also, you're watering daily, right? Coco like daily watering - even better, twice daily is better, if you can (this is where automatic irrigation comes in handy).

Fuck, I wish I had a greenhouse like this. Imagine what the possibilities would be (drools).

The great thing about growing in a greenhouse is that you can have an environment and light conditions you just can't get in a grow room or outdoors in the UK. It's like having a space in a tropical rain forest inside.
