Had about 3 people gaze at my 42 inch (to get a visual on it) monitor, watching this, in my dormroom freshman year of college. We were all on three White #1's. It was about the middle of our roll/trip, so we were all probably peaking. After two blunts, and a pack of cigs we finally turned it off. Honestly, I cant even tell you how the rest of that night went. It was the greatest experience of my life I'll leave it at that. <3

Anyone seen the movie "Rolling"?

Has anyone seen the movie "Rolling"? I missed the screening in my area and all I've seen are the trailers on youtube. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who saw it what they thought.

Ive seen the videos on youtube for this this movie. It looks alright, I would see it if I had the chance.

This is the first I've heard of it. I just watched the trailer and I'm not sure what to think of it.

Is it a documentary?

I'm not sure. Either way, movies about drug-users always leave me in a weird head space at the end. It's disturbing, and I don't know why.

In any case, I'll probably watch it should the opportunity arise.

i have seen da trailers its seem intersting, i like to see what type of info the media puts about drug use. I really wanna c cuz its an independent film so it will b more raw so to speak

Its like a scripted documentary if you know what I mean. Everything is scripted, but its a movie that follows different ecstasy users around and shit. But there all actors, and I think that might confuse some people to think that it is an actual documentary. My favorite part in the trailer is when that guy with the beard is talking about it by his pool. Hes talking about what it does and how your left with optimism and hope or something.

heres the bio:

The giddy highs and crushing lows of Ecstasy use are felt by a group of people looking to escape their troubles in this independent drama. It's Friday night in Los Angeles, and a handful of young hipsters are on their way to a massive rave party at a Los Angeles warehouse. Twentyish Summer (Rachel Hardisty) is looking for an evening of casual fun after breaking up with Josh (Joshua Harper), a high school kid who was taking things to seriously for her taste. Matt (Brian William Toth) is happy to have ended a bad relationship with his latest boyfriend, and is looking forward to blowing off some steam with his friend Samantha (Christine Cowden), a self-centered would-be actress. Dan (Albert Rothman) devotes his days to burning through his trust fund, and is looking for any excitement the night has to offer. Sarah (Angie Greenup) is a high school teacher who just wants to forget her work for a few hours. And Dustin (Garrett Brawith) is a drug dealer who is on shaky emotion ground after his girlfriend Rain (Sanoe Lake) walked out on him; what he doesn't know is she was pregnant with his child but had an abortion and is now wary of him. Nearly everyone at the party is looking for romance and hungry for Ecstasy, the club drug that's become de rigueur among ravers, and Dustin is more than happy to supply their demand. But a batch of tainted Ecstasy has been making the rounds; it's already claimed the lives of three users, and there's no telling where the deadly drugs will pop up next. Rolling was the first feature film from writer and director Billy Samoa Saleebey.

I'm interested to see how this film turns out. Seems like it's going to include both opponents and proponents of Ecstacy use. I'm going to hope that it turns out to be as unbiased as I think it will be.

According to IMDB, it was supposed to be released late last year.

It was at a bunch of film festivals a while back,
i think we just have to wait to see if they actually release it.
