Saw it last night for the first time after countless recommendations from friends. It's a wicked film. If anyone hasn't seen it, see it! Apart from minor instances it doesn't really portray ecstasy in a bad light either I thought. Definitely gives the impression that the positives outweigh the negatives. But also gives insight into what it can do in the long run from over-use. Overall a quality film I reckon. What do you think?
 
I watched this film again recently and decided to like it. But I dont think I was in the whole "rave scene" emnough to actually understnad the hype surrounding this movie.
 
i thought it was a good film but not what i'd want ecstasy to be like; don't they all have dead-end jobs and shitty weekdays and are completely disconnected/disinterested in non-clubbing culture??
 
It's one of my favorites.
One reason I connected so much with it is that this was essentially my life at the same time period but in Dallas instead of the UK. It was like the writers pulled parts that I had lived and dropped them straight into the script. Completely wild!
I think they did the best film representation so far of what it's like to be on MDMA. All of the little nuances and quirks you have were shown. Every time I watch it, I get butterflies in my stomach remembering those times.
 
I watched it tonight after reading this thread. Definitely not a bad movie. :D

Oooh British people and their amazing accents.
