MDPV Megathread 4 - Egosyntonics R Us

^ Snap. Not quite every day for months but 4-5 days a week followed by 2-3 days catching up on missed dreamtime which is close enough really. Not had any for a coupla weeks now after caning 6g in just over a week flat out and have had no problems at all other than sleeping a lot. The only times I've noticed any unpleasantness - even after ridiculous excess excesses - has been following what must have been a poor synth.

Anyone taken a break like I have and then gone back to it? Does it still deliver?

This:

yes, even a week makes a huge difference when you've been caining it for a month or two.

I was just thinking actually how often on mdpv I start the day thinking I've got the whole day to get x y and z done and before I know it it's 8/9 in the evening and I've done absolutely fuckall and added 2 or 3 new things to the todo list in the process.

=D

Yea, my hallucinations are getting pretty intense at the moment. (Not in the trippy sense.)

Posted this in a diff thread.

Been up almost 4 days now. Hallucinations are hitting me like a mother fucker. Every hour I'll get in a panic, but I control it and calm down. I don't want to be hysterical.

At first I hated the being awake, yet I'll top up if I am feeling lethargic.

The hallucinations come in waves, some aren't as bad, others make it hard to look at anything. Whole rooms circling/melting/waving. Words mash together and make little patterns which I'm trying to figure out what (If anything) they are.

Its odd, as it really does come in waves, I can be totally functioning, see fine, but then that notorious panic attack comes, but fortunately I have a lot of experience with anxietys and can calm that shit down before it turns into full blown hysteria.

The visuals are interesting to me, and my perception of depth is massively fucked at times, which can cause for a few scars when something catches the corner of my eye and its curtains ten feet away looking like they're flying in my face.

Also get smoke visuals, with a rippling effect. Prolonged viewings on my laptop screen and steam starts coming out. Originally looked like a hand, but it stopped.

None overly distressing until everything starts waving/twisting/turning and jolting violently. It leaves me confused, slightly lost. I note the time for these asap. time passes much quicker whilst these bigger ones are there.

Possible microsleep, but its never more than a few minutes, feeling like seconds.

Also, out of every single stimulant I've done, I've NEVER gotten grinding etc, however if i sleep deprive myself on PV, the skin on the back of my lips will be bitten to shreds. Fortunately I have a little control over it, and the damage heals after about 4 days.

Strange little substance. I feel I've got a good control over it, and re-dosing really isn't a problem for me. If I want to continue it, I will. It's not a impulse. Various sessions of DBT/CBT has taught me a good sense of self, and mindful techniques.

Edit: 6 grams in a week? Seriously? My mind must be weak, because a couple hundred mg's mixed with no sleep sets my mind flying. Haha.

I found a post on another forum which kinda describes a lot of my effects, but I do not know what substance it is, and searchings not possible now. Its called "lu dove" ?

LU Doves contain many things. One of which is a bronchodilator. (Not sure which one). It's basically a drug given to asthmatics to help them to breathe, and in larger quantities it produces euphoric effects.

Sometimes people get panic attacks when they take stuff like LU Doves in the wrong setting or are scared of getting caught or something, so in that sense it's a good thing they put in a bronchodilator to at least ease the airflow while panicking.

The downside is that the type of bronchodilator they included is an anticholinergic, which messes with your acetylcholine neurotransmitter. It was evident to me because one time I tried to turn to look at someone while on LU Doves and my neck muscles kinda Parkinson's-like quivered left/right/left/right for a second and then i was able to actually turn to look at them. There were other incidents while sober afterwards where I noticed the very same twitchy issue like with my thumbs or something.

Because of London Underground's lack of proper declaration of ingredients, I have given up on their products as I feel betrayed. Anyhow, here is a nice list of what to expect if you continue abusing LU Doves like every few days, ripped from Wikipedia hehe :D

Possible effects of anticholinergics include:
Ataxia; loss of coordination
Decreased mucus production in the nose and throat; consequent dry, sore throat
Xerostomia or dry-mouth with possible acceleration of caries
Cessation of perspiration; consequent decreased epidermal thermal dissipation leading to warm, blotchy, or red skin
Increased body temperature
Pupil dilation (mydriasis); consequent sensitivity to bright light (photophobia)
Loss of accommodation (loss of focusing ability, blurred vision — cycloplegia)
Double-vision (diplopia)
Increased heart rate (tachycardia)
Tendency to be easily startled
Urinary retention
Diminished bowel movement, sometimes ileus - (decreases motility via the vagus nerve)
Increased intraocular pressure; dangerous for people with narrow-angle glaucoma
Shaking

Possible effects in the central nervous system resemble those associated with delirium, and may include:
Confusion
Disorientation
Agitation
Euphoria or dysphoria
Respiratory depression
Memory problems [1]
Inability to concentrate
Wandering thoughts; inability to sustain a train of thought
Incoherent speech
Wakeful myoclonic jerking
Unusual sensitivity to sudden sounds
Illogical thinking
Photophobia
Visual disturbances
Periodic flashes of light
Periodic changes in visual field
Visual snow
Restricted or "tunnel vision"
Visual, auditory, or other sensory hallucinations[1]
Warping or waving of surfaces and edges
Textured surfaces
"Dancing" lines; "spiders", insects
Lifelike objects indistinguishable from reality
Hallucinated presence of people not actually there

The above list includes effects from both minimal and large doses of an anticholinergic. The ones that stand out for smaller quantities which are in the LU Doves, are things like "Euphoria or dysphoria". LU Doves/Summer Daze are notorious for "amplifying" emotions rather than just making you euphoric. If you think of something negative or something that depresses you, you will feel even WORSE. Try it ;) "Intraocular pressure": I've had occasional golden sparkles in the corner of my right eye's peripheral vision denoting retinal detachment due to its induced glaucoma. Even while not on the Doves. I didn't consider that those sparkles were caused by the Doves but a few weeks after I had stopped taking them, I noticed that my sparkles slowly stopped appearing as frequently. I still get them for brief moments every 3 weeks or so.

Looking over the list I'm sure you folks can identify symptoms you've experienced on them.

Edit: But i will say, these effects only occur when I've not had sleep. 2-3 daysish.

Strange little substance. I feel I've got a good control over it, and re-dosing really isn't a problem for me.

Hate to say it dude, but from my point of view, re-dosing is a problem for you, if you had good control over it you could decide "Hey, I'm not really enjoying this anymore, I should go to sleep, PV will be a lot more enjoyable after that".

I've been up 5 days on PV before, and I can relate with you completely, there was a slow onset of hallucinations from the 4th day, and on the 5th my vision suddenly got a fish-eye effect to it, and in waves I'd suddenly hear voices and my surroundings would appear to be something else for about a second, and I'd be chatting on MSN, and I kept forgetting what I was typing/doing halfway through. Not very pleasant, yet I still kept dosing to "chase away the need to sleep".

The most vivid time I remember was after about 3 days sleep deprivation (but after a 9 hour sleep after a several day PV binge), I was looking at my wall while trying to sleep, and all those tiny crevices and textures turned into little, moving people, very vivid stuff. ;)

If you can control your dosing, don't stay up for more than 2 days on MDPV, it's much more enjoyable after a rest. And take the occasional week without it. (And take a break for a day as often as possible when on it)

I personally, can not control my PV doses well at all, I pretty much go until not even PV can keep me awake, or until it runs out. :\

I'm a little down because I won't have the money to buy PV until next friday, which may be too late to buy it from anywhere!
To make matters worse, I see a gram is going for £12 now, reducing the odds of there being any stock next week. :(

Edit: 6 grams in a week? Seriously? My mind must be weak, because a couple hundred mg's mixed with no sleep sets my mind flying. Haha.
A gram for me lasts 3 weeks on average, and that's pretty much being on it all day every day.

Anyone taken a break like I have and then gone back to it? Does it still deliver?
After each gram or 2, I take a weeks break, and when I return my tolerance has always disappeared completely, with 2.5mg being enough to have profound effects. :D

No, I can 100% assure you.

I've not had any for 3 hours, and 3 hours ago? I literally had 5mg.

This is a new experience for me, I'll recap quickly.

Tuesday, normal day. Insomnia keeps me up for a lot of the night, but I get a decent rest. No drugs at all.

Wednesday, up at 6am, normal day till I do 200mg of Methylone at 8pmish? Notice dark red to purple hands, do other 200mg of Methylone, then from 10pm - 5am, I specifically only set out 50mg of PV, I took my last little bit of that 50mg at 5am.

Then from 5am thursday, to 10pm friday, I did absolutely nothing, couldn't sleep. And tonight, I have done about 15mg from 10pm friday, to the now 12am, saturday.

I haven't compulsively redosed at all, like I said, this is strange, I've always been a 'less is more' PV guy, as my first experience I took too much too fast, had a BPM of like 160 (Very high for me.), mass anxiety and panic, the inability to sit still, it fucked with my digestional tract, giving me constipation but making me seriously bloated. That was enough to put me off taking too much, and in doing so; have found that small amounts works better. It's just a new concept to me, seeing as I'm a big 6'5 guy, and normally need to caine everything to get 'there'.

Edit: And the reason for topping up, is i'm simply facsinated by the effect it's having, as I've had both bad stim psychosis, and too much PV, and this doesn't fit either.

I was worried at first, but I'm riding with it for the moment, it's enjoyable, and at the least, interesting experience.

LU Doves are a fucking horrible drug that bring on such effects immediately, not after 3 days use, in my experience.

LU Doves convinced me that anything legal = worthless shit for a long time.

From methamp experience - after 5 days without sleep it's hard to know what is real and what isn't - aurally, visually and mentally. I enjoyed it too, though. I used to sit out on my balcony and try and work out where the beautiful music was coming from, before I realised it was the wind rustling through the trees.

That's when it's time to take a break though.

I find forcing yourself to eat something helps. Another thing I used was a hemp bud or two, cooked in a little butter in the microwave and mixed with a glass of warm milk.

Yea, I knew it wasn't that specific thing, but was quite interested that I exhibted most of the effects. (However obviously most can be put down to sleep deprivation.

I've not taken anymore, but I had a panic, and chest pains, could feel my pulse in my wrist without touching it, did the responsible thing, took my blood pressure twice, got an average of 131 over 87, and 88BPM.

Got a sneaky feeling this isn't exactly my death quite yet, as since seeing that my heart isn't going a million miles a minute, it's going away. B/P is prehypertension, which I was expecting to be higher.

Will try my best to get to sleep, I obviously need it.

By the way, Mullicious, earlier you mentioned purple hands.

I've had this effect on PV loads of time, it usually flares up when it's cold. I've always assumed that it's just bad circulation due to cold + vasoconstriction. Same happens to my knees.
I don't take it as anything to worry about, as putting my hands near a heater gets them looking normal in no time.

I have a hunch sitting down using a computer for too long may be a contributing factor in my case. ;)

I've been doing 12-15mg. twice daily (9a.m. & 2p.m.) on top of my 70 mg. Vyvanse, 150mg. Bupropion, and 140 mg.Effexor For the treatment of ADD/ADHD, PTSD, and Severe depressive disorder. I added the MDPV to my medical plan to boost the Vyvance which will not be prescibed at a higher dose through my medical program. With great success I added 10mg MDPV to my morning meds and felt better focus and attentiveness and less hyperactive for about 9hrs.After 2 weeks at this dose I bumped up to a 15mg. morning dose which worked better for a few hours longer. After 1 week at this dose I decide to dose 10mg. in the a.m. and another 10-12mg. @2-3 o'clock.I have stuck with this dose for the last 3 months with no cravings to do more now that I feel evened out & like a functional contributing member of the human race once again.
Some history,I'm mid 30's and used Ritalin with great success in 11th &12th grade 80mgs.-100mgs./day. Stopped when I moved from home until 2 years ago.I feel like I have "Me" back again and so does my family.
So MDPV, can, IMO, be used responsibly by at least me.I used to abuse heroin and cocaine 5-6 years ago.coke 'Chilled"me out.Having a structural similarity to Ritalin may have been why.

Chasers... Keep that beattle golden and it will run forever and not leave a trail at all. It's incredible how long it'll keep going for if you really concentrate on making sure it doesnt get to hot.

Well just thought I'd let anyone else who deals with the blurry vision that I found a cure.

Reading glasses.

I was really amazed at how I couldn't see shit. I posted a thread about it in a bit of a panic but got no replies. I mean shit my vision was weird all night, but i been staring at a computer screen for the last 10 hours. But when I would get up it'd be kinda Psychedelic almost. So if you get to that point where U get up out of ur chair after a long session, and walking just feels funny and feels more like ur on K or something, then you better get those reading glasses handy since wanting to talk to the whole world, while not being able to read ur computer monitor (I tried every resolution), kinda sucks.

Especially when u didnt know it could make u go half blind and ur counting on some lovely BL member to call ur cell # that u left in the post to let you know its a normal reaction.

I felt normal enough not to freak out and call an ambulance though.

I was thinking well if it stays like this its not to bad as long as i got my hearing.

I bet this shit makes u look like a real idiot on msg boards though eh!.

Now the only thing is when my parents ask me wtf am I wearing reading glasses for I'll have no answer and probably just take them off before they get home =\

Random vendor:
Methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV), also known as Hyperfocusine

An entirely synthetic drug with a more powerful effect than Mephedrone.

Excuse me? Hyperfocusine? Where on earth did this name on MDPV come from that it apparantly is a common term for it?

Also, Hyper-focus-ine? Haha, almost as good as Miaow Miaow.

I've seen that name for it here and there. "Here" being the occasional news article, "there" being the occasional vendor site. Drugs without silly names are harder to market - chemical names sound too much like actual drugs 8)

I can just imagine if MDPV became the in thing; "Hey mate, let's go get totally hyper focused tonight!"

Haha! Just how many "date rape drugs" are there now? And how many have ever been used to rape dates I wonder. Mmm... stickysex <3

Oh, not too long ago the mass media were calling date rape drugs an urban legend as everyone getting themselves tested for date rape drugs only ever had alcohol in their system. Totally out of character for the media. 8)

Just ordered 5g of PV, couldn't resist at £12/g. There goes a few weeks of my life, lost in a PV blur. Haven't had any in 2 months!

I did the same thing recently (5g of peevee at a more than reasonable price). I also expected to lose a few weeks... it lasted a little over a week. Started off very reasonable but tolerance builds so damn quick that it was gone in a flash. I got a surprise present of not far off a gram extra sent my way too - added another day or two. I'd recommend trying to take the odd day off cos even just 24 hours without resets peevee tolerance back to near-baseline, in my experience. See you on the other side ;)
