LU Doves contain many things. One of which is a bronchodilator. (Not sure which one). It's basically a drug given to asthmatics to help them to breathe, and in larger quantities it produces euphoric effects.
Sometimes people get panic attacks when they take stuff like LU Doves in the wrong setting or are scared of getting caught or something, so in that sense it's a good thing they put in a bronchodilator to at least ease the airflow while panicking.
The downside is that the type of bronchodilator they included is an anticholinergic, which messes with your acetylcholine neurotransmitter. It was evident to me because one time I tried to turn to look at someone while on LU Doves and my neck muscles kinda Parkinson's-like quivered left/right/left/right for a second and then i was able to actually turn to look at them. There were other incidents while sober afterwards where I noticed the very same twitchy issue like with my thumbs or something.
Because of London Underground's lack of proper declaration of ingredients, I have given up on their products as I feel betrayed. Anyhow, here is a nice list of what to expect if you continue abusing LU Doves like every few days, ripped from Wikipedia hehe :D
Possible effects of anticholinergics include:
Ataxia; loss of coordination
Decreased mucus production in the nose and throat; consequent dry, sore throat
Xerostomia or dry-mouth with possible acceleration of caries
Cessation of perspiration; consequent decreased epidermal thermal dissipation leading to warm, blotchy, or red skin
Increased body temperature
Pupil dilation (mydriasis); consequent sensitivity to bright light (photophobia)
Loss of accommodation (loss of focusing ability, blurred vision — cycloplegia)
Double-vision (diplopia)
Increased heart rate (tachycardia)
Tendency to be easily startled
Urinary retention
Diminished bowel movement, sometimes ileus - (decreases motility via the vagus nerve)
Increased intraocular pressure; dangerous for people with narrow-angle glaucoma
Shaking
Possible effects in the central nervous system resemble those associated with delirium, and may include:
Confusion
Disorientation
Agitation
Euphoria or dysphoria
Respiratory depression
Memory problems [1]
Inability to concentrate
Wandering thoughts; inability to sustain a train of thought
Incoherent speech
Wakeful myoclonic jerking
Unusual sensitivity to sudden sounds
Illogical thinking
Photophobia
Visual disturbances
Periodic flashes of light
Periodic changes in visual field
Visual snow
Restricted or "tunnel vision"
Visual, auditory, or other sensory hallucinations[1]
Warping or waving of surfaces and edges
Textured surfaces
"Dancing" lines; "spiders", insects
Lifelike objects indistinguishable from reality
Hallucinated presence of people not actually there
The above list includes effects from both minimal and large doses of an anticholinergic. The ones that stand out for smaller quantities which are in the LU Doves, are things like "Euphoria or dysphoria". LU Doves/Summer Daze are notorious for "amplifying" emotions rather than just making you euphoric. If you think of something negative or something that depresses you, you will feel even WORSE. Try it

"Intraocular pressure": I've had occasional golden sparkles in the corner of my right eye's peripheral vision denoting retinal detachment due to its induced glaucoma. Even while not on the Doves. I didn't consider that those sparkles were caused by the Doves but a few weeks after I had stopped taking them, I noticed that my sparkles slowly stopped appearing as frequently. I still get them for brief moments every 3 weeks or so.
Looking over the list I'm sure you folks can identify symptoms you've experienced on them.
