MD, Baltimore - 07.24.04 - Starscape 2004 **REVIEW**

Highlight of last years hotel party (not many people were there)

I had been drinking all day and wandered up to this hotel room of some people I had never met. I asked if I could jump on their beds and they said ok. for a good 10 minutes I began running at full speed jumping off one bed and doing a flip onto the bed next to it with a room full of strangers cheering me on.

When they were ready to stop me I screamed... "IM GOING FOR THE GUSTO BABY LOOK OUT!!!"

I did the awesomestisitc flipperoo EVAR at that point. woot.

Melissa and I should have NEVER left the hotel to go to the mall. What silly girls we were. Although we did have to go back to my house anyway to get changed.

Still.... we missed a lot. Including the naming of your room as the "shake it like a polaroid picture room" :(
 
^^Definitely, no mall this year! We're not missing any of the fun this time!! :) Plus my bank account will be hurting enough as it is if I go, no need to be tempted by shopping.

may i attend the super extravagant bl hotel party this time??? :) i missed it the last two years :(... the first year i REALLY tried to find the room... but i knocked on the door NEXT to the one that everyone was in. :(

It wasn't a big ceremony. I just wrote that on a piece of paper, and stuck it to the outside of the door with gum. =D

I know but see..... it was funny for me because I had never heard of the song "shake it like a polaroid picture" until about 2 weeks AFTER Starscape (that's what happens when you never listen to the radio). And only THEN did I understand where the hell you guys came up with the "shake it like a polaroid picture room" :o

Then of course to this day that song makes me think of your guys' hotel room :D

It's ok. I never heard the song until Jamal played it literally about 20 times on the ride down.

Are there regulations on alcohol at these parties....im guessing that is not alowed.....but i was just hopiing i could bring the captain along with me....

You may not bring in alcohol. However there will be a beer garden for those 21+. Actually last year I don't think there was a seperate beer garden area but I don't know as I wasn't drinking beer. I think they may have just sold beer out of one of the many "booths." I know you NE boys drank there.... what was the deal? :p In past years they have had a seperate beer garden where only 21+ can enter... and you could only drink in the certain area.

Too bad all they have is beer. Cause I think beer is gross. They should have a full service bar dammit!!! But whatever. Drinking means having to use port-a-pots which is a big no no no. Those things are nasty.

That room belonged to Gmni13, Br00klyn, Doozer, Ctrl-X, LemuR and I was there with Tr6ai0ls4. I even had the flip on video too, but it's gone now. It was very amusing :)
 
haha! it was even funnier when after the fliperoo jump all there was left to do was slam into the wall. yea...that was classic.

um...about the bringing alcohol thing in. judging by the past 3 years, they allow you to bring in food and drinks just as long as they're closed/sealed, this does not mean alcohol BUT to clarify things...
i have NEVER gotten searched at starscape! at least i've never been patted down, they do a half assed skim through the bags and all but if i was all into that stuff i'm sure that i'd find a way to bring in some liquor (because all they had was beer last year...yuingling...mmmm)
so go ahead people...get your smuggle on.

I think web's endorsement is invaluable.. now... if I were to endorse something.. you'd be better off getting endorsement from some random street crackhead in overtown/little havanah (miami ghetto area) Hah.. However I give my endorsement to TLB.. even though the prick destroyed the Events forum's.. ;)
