yeah, it really was a while ago. i kicked it with the rest of the norcal crew at coachella last year, but you were already out of state by that time.

Yes, BWI is very very close to the nearest hotels and the venue :D About 10-20 minutes depending on what route you take and how fast you drive. It's your best bet!!

agreed. not only is learning the hard way suxX0r, but so is the dropping of hope and expectation. tis better to keep one open til things are confirmed.

Ultraworld is a very trustworthy promoter.... however they've been through a lot of shit as a production company involving the Rave Act and other such things. After their loss of the DC armory a couple years ago... throwing parties has not been as easy for them (it's a long complicated mess as to why they lost the armory). They used to throw at least 2 massives a year at the Armory, and then Starscape in the summer. When they lost the Armory there was even talk they would not throw any more massives, including Starscape. However they DID pull through last year.... although securing a finalized date was somewhat of an issue. And if I recall, the lineup wasn't announced extremely early as they have been able to do in the past.

Another positive thing is that Buzzlife (who throws the weekly Cubik in DC) is co-promoting (is that a word? :p) Starscape this year. 2 of the east coast bests joining forces to bring you the most kick-ass party of the year (<- you may quote me on that ;) lol ).

But like Chrissie said.... especially for those of you coming from many miles away and needing flights and hotels.... I'd wait til it's more solid. They've already had to change the date once.

I promise if I get any insider info from my friends that I'll let you guys know.

Also, for people who do not want to read through the dozens of pages so far for this thread, I will remind you... dreamgirlie19 and I are running a private board to talk about Starscape. If either of us knows you, you will be added. If you do not know either of us personally (I met many of you at last year's SS), but you know someone who can vouch for you... please contact them and have them PM us to give you access to the board. We are not trying to be exclusive, however we are being smart and limiting board access only to those we know and/or know can be trusted. Please respect that :D

Last year our top secret BL party at the unmentionable hotel was 3192083120 times more fun than the event itself =D

Not that Starscape wasn't fun. But the hotel rocked %)
