Hey BL'ers...just here waiting to get picked up to go shovel off some roofs; you know, to make room for the snow that's comin' ffs!!! Hell, @ $50 a pop which is far cheaper than gettin a pro to do it, imo they are makin out pretty well. I know of ppl out there chargin at the least $100-150 to do it!!! Anyways lookin forward to rewarding myself after the hard work is done with a bun or two (or three) of my connect's fire bags. Since my tolerance is super low (been short on cash so I've been kinda on then off a few days then on again...don't know why the fuck I just stop doin it already)...it's in my mind to stop for good but then I do but after a few days I get sooo depressed and can't sleep or think of anything else but coppin; I've pretty much figured that in reality I'll never stop using cause it's been my whole existence for 26 yrs and I don't remember a time when I was clean a while except in '09 when i had to stop using cause I was starting the Pegasys treatment for the Hep C (didn't matter cause I was on MMT at the time). Went straight for like a year and a half, even made it to 6 take-homes and all...but of course after I completed the regimen(wasn't bad at all, they said i would be very sick from the Interferon and Ribavirin but actually I didn't feel sick at all. Lowered my levels from a whopping 10 million to minimal(undetectable levels even though it will always be there) and got through it all right. Had 6 take-homes and was working with my counselor to get 13 bottles and fucked it up with a 3 or 4 day run, lost count of the days before my next drug screen and basically dropped out @ 55mgs which is crazy but my habit was up there so I didn't get any withdrawals...That's the last time I was not using a long time and I think to myself "I did it once why not again?" Because honestly I didn't want to stop!!! Now I've been gettin calls from my doc who did the Pegasys treatment for me sayin there's a new addition to the cocktail of drugs for the Hep C which seems to work better and in half the time(the treatment takes about a year; I did it for a year and a half) but this new tx takes about 13 weeks!! The Hep C was back again strong when I got my blood checked so I told him I would think about it...the tx cost my insurance about $40,000 including the lab work and many check-up appts!! That was for the one I went through in 2009...this new formulation could cost over $100,000!!! Idk if he was exaggerating or what, but damn I don't know if my state insurance is going to cover it again...Had MassHealth but because of the damn Obama Care shit I got changed to CeltiCare, which is pretty good I guess...Anyways I went off on a tangent with this Hep C thing; I probably will try it again if there's no probs with my insurance. Any one go through this too?? I'd like to read about it and how you got through it...Well I'm going off to shovel the white shit so I can get me some tan shit, hahaha...

Yeah I know, but I've done a few and am always careful; did roofing a lot in my day so I know how to work up there; anyways the ones we're doing are pretty flat or ranch style houses which have a walkable roof without having to put up staging...if u mean gettin "fucked up" and working up there I usually get a few dollars up front just to get off "E". Don't want to be noddin up there, haha
 
Today sucked I went to my local suboxone clinic sick cuz I had sold my subs. And they were closed for dea inspection so now I gotta go back tomorrow.

I'm glad our tax money is going towards having people snoop around Suboxone doctor's offices!...

That's a service I know I couldn't live without! Saving the fucking world from itself...big fucking heroes!

Go Feds! Keep fucking with the perpetrator's of suspected victim-less crimes while the economy sucks and people are being put out of work! Oh, people are getting fore-closed on and can't feed their kids? Better give the DEA $200 million to fuck with Suboxone doctors! It's an investment in the future! Spineless scum, worse than a junkie on welfare...just taking up space and performing pointless little bullshit tasks!

Still out of work? The only time that I did shoveling recently was when I was homeless last winter, and I hated how much me and the other guys got lowballed due to us settling for whatever we could get. We took on this huge parking lot for $100 between the 4 of us, although one of the guys just showed up towards the end so we have him less.

But these dudes were making us get every last bit of snow or wouldn't pay us, and they agreed to give us each a meal too since it was the parking lot of a cheap Spanish restaurant, and first the guy tried to short us on the money, and then he barely wanted to give us any food.

Do you have any job prospects for once the spring rolls around? I hate to hear about anybody out of work, and having to settle for slaving themselves out for a few odd jobs here and there.
 
Seriously the dea can fuck themselves I'm lucky subs have such a long half life I took 3 mg yesterday but I usually take 6 or12 so I'm not feelin great but can make it till tom.

Hey Tommy...there's no work out here and even if there were who in their right mind would hire a 45y.o. junkie with a terrible track record as far as keepin jobs and also a criminal record (possession of Class A substance in 1997, currently on probation for receiving stolen property...I know it's being too hard on myself but isn't it the truth??

Well I was mainly referring to off-the-books labor work. I figure if you have the strength to hustle enough to do that much shoveling you can get by doing some kinds of manual labor. That's all.

Even if you get a $8.25 an hour job, its still possible. Last year this dude that worked for the HOA part of the golf course was fresh out of jail for distribution of weed while having a shotgun when his house got raided. Dude got minimum wage but still had a job. Better then nothing IMO
 
A charge from 1997? Damn, I think there has to be a point where past mistakes stop hindering your ability to make a living (granted you are still on probation).

Like how I just went in for a job interview. I am 28. I was CWOF'd off a vandalism charge when I was 13 and lost my license for driving to endanger and leaving the scene of an accident when I was 17. They bring both these up. Its like damn, if you want to use these as a reason to not hire me because then go ahead, but all I can say is it was a long time ago and I am a changed man.
