Nebraska borders Colorado on the west, and a good portion of Colorado is "high plains", so it looks like Nebraska....Nebraska is not particularly flat, it rolls for the most part, but most of it is either open grassland or farmland...and it is very repetitive and boring. I'm on the eastern edge of the state on main highway, in a major city next to a river, so it's not like its the middle of nowhere, but a 45 minute drive in basically any direction and you're in farm country...If you drive off the main highways, forget it!

We were most definitely in farm country. I don't remember the navigational particulars but we traveled from CO into Nebraska to visit some family. It was made very clear to me during the visit that people there like the Cornhuskers. That and the tornadoes are pretty much the extent of my Nebraska memories.
You're from RI? I have lots of fond memories of time spent in Providence. Very underrated city. IMO.

^I like it. The last time I was there I had a needle break off in my arm but that's not overly relevant cause it wasn't Rhode Island's fault. It wasn't even Providence dope. I think I brought it from Hartford. What this has to do with anything, I don't know.

Hey my MA brothers..

How is the police presence over there?
Apparently, SJ & Chicago are getting shut & locked down by cops..
Seriously, it is way too damn hot to cop anything really.. Every corner you turn, there's a patrol unit lurking..
Unbelievable..

To answer an earlier question from RTrain;
I was in some clinic set up where you go to group therapy sessions once a week and then get a script. After awhile they'll allow u to come every other week but I couldn't get them to let me come less eve though they'd said they would. It was not at all like a private dr. Office there were a lot of people there on MA health etc. I'm sure it's fine for people who don't had to work a day job.

Money well spent.... 8(

I know over here north of Boston they busted a good amount of dealers. They called the people they busted "street level dealers", which means they were probably mostly the delivery guys in the area. Therefore they pretty much did nothing to reduce the amount of heroin in the area and just put a bunch of people in jail because they were basically just trying to make a living (granted "illegally") or feed their addiction.

Yeah the guys that run the phones are the ones who really have the money in it and they have it set up pretty good so that as long as they're runners don't snitch, they'll never go down.

Your right, most of the time they're just busting the guys who drive around all day dropping off bags.

^Yeah it is a rather large psychiatric facility. It deals all sorts of mental health issues, so of course there is rehab and detox there. It is considered a very good place to go for what they treat.

Basically Boxofrin was saying that you don't always get what you were expecting when you ask. McLean runs the psychiatric floors at some of hospitals in the area, so I guess when requesting McLean they decided the psych unit @ VA (Veteran's Appreciation) Hospital in Brockton was a fine choice. I find it kind of odd because the VA hospitals are for only military veterans. But the psych floor there might not be part of the hospital, but its own entity that is in the same building.

Also Boxofrain were you voluntary admit or section 12 (not your choice), and who were you requesting (ER, counselor, etc.)? An ER isn't going to hold you for days, taking up a bed, until a bed opens at McLean. And if you were on a 12 you basically just get the first bed that opens at a appropriate facility. The nurses might try to accommodate your requests if they like you and it doesn't create much hassle. In this case you asked for McLean so they did what they could. Just be happy they didn't send you to the Andrew House in Quincy.

Yeah went right through Monson. My mom's friend had a shop there that got effed. Yeah that video is nuts but I had to shut the sound off. I mean seriously? I don't wanna see sad dogs when I sleep tonight.

Nice to see another BL from my area. I live right outside Springfield. You live around here too? I'm a 25 year old, female. I used to be on this forum a lot many years ago and then forgot my user name and password and didn't get back on BL until now.

I think you meant to post that in the Chicago thread. We don't take kindly to your type around here...

Just playing man, but I'm assuming you made the trip from Indy to Chicago and it seems like it was worth it.

^yea, I'm going crazy without access to an open air drug market. Plus the lack of dormin in my dope really has got me down on my luck lately.

I'll find a way to carry on.
