The psychedelic experience did not adjust my personality. It gave me the eyes to see myself clearly.
After the experience faded, I felt like I had lost some of that vision. And whatever remained I tried to ignore.
Afterall, who has the time to change their deepest shortcomings?
I wanted to become a blank slate and start over. Even if you have to the time to do so, will your friends and family understand what is happening?
Ego-readjustment takes time and is a frustrating endevour.
My grand visions of a complete self were fleeting yet true.
Everyday I seek to be a greater person but a devil whispers in my other ear : "look at you, a flake, a fraud. Why must you confuse people like this?"
Ah the struggle.
By the way endlesseulogy, glad to hear your life has changed for the better following the experiences.
Peace
