I went to a microbrewery for dinner last week and ended up with a peach microbrew, that was very yummy, it's a great summer beer

Peach? Never had it. I like a few Magic Hat #9s though I think that's supposed to be apricot.
I have recently been drinkingSam latitude 48 IPA. Not exactly summer but, great non the less.

I got a variety pack of micro brew beers from the west coast. ^ This one was my favorite out of them.
Yea man, I mentioned that a few pages back. I would love to get some again.

I haven't had one of those is quite a while. I remember them smelling more of strawberries than tasting if that makes sense. Nice summery brew though.

What part of the country are you from? I'll have to look for this and see if I can get my hands on some. Doesn't sound too bad. Is it a really common beer? maybe it's easy to find Idk, I've just never had it/ heard of it. Sounds like a straight deal though, I'm pretty broke too but I love beer and I don't want to have to end up buying some shitty blue and silver beer just to save money but not enjoy it at all. That's not even worth it sometimes.I had some shock-top tonight. I gotta say, I think that I like it more than Blue Moon, which is very similar. Has anyone else had both of them, and prefer one over the other? There was discussion about the two at the bar tonight, so I figured I would bring it up here.

shock top is unfiltered, which is always better, both in taste, and the fact that brewers yeast is good for you....always go with unfiltered beers when you have a choice

I've had both, and I liked both. I'm pretty sure blue moon is unfiltered as well. I'd have to say I like blue moon better, but that's just because I end up having it more. I really only get shock top at bars, where as a lot of my friends drink blue moon at home..

I just had my first one of these last week
I'm sad to see summer go but the beer in the fall is spectacular

there's 1 brewery in my town whos oktoberfest is so good the serve it year round.
And it really is that good.

That's pretty cool, but man idk that almost takes some of the novelty out of it. One of the parts of fall that makes the changing weather not so bad is the changing beer.
And as far as the pumpkin beer goes:
pretty nasty. Man I love beer. I love it so much. One thing I don't dig is flavored beer. One thing I dislike more than that is pumpkin beer. When I drink a beer I want to taste a beer. Not a fucking pumpkin. GROSS.
