Let's Talk Craft Beer

i've been devouring these suckers lately:

pretty much anything by victory is a guaranteed winner, except their lager, which is pretty piss-poor for the price. hop devil is something else though, shits incredible.
really liked this too:

had a lot of depth for a wheat beer. a lot of people throw fruit in wheats but then you really lose the wheat flavor. not the case here, very refreshing and satisfying.
and finally, this one has to be the winner of the year for me, but you can't really get it outside pittsburgh:

East End's Pedal Pale Ale. They make a lot of solid beers, but this one is shockingly good, and only available in the summer sadly :(.

Really looking forward to trying Witches Tit from La Cumbre Brewing Co here in albuquerque...my friend said it was delicious, and its almost 8% alcohol

As of this morning, I am officially declaring that Brass Monkeys are awesome...I can drink the beer way faster, and all the Vitamin C means no hangover!

I'm in love with coors light

MMMmmm coors...

Jk coors I guess is one of the more tolerable blue and silver beers out there, I'd rather go to a party with a bunch of coors than bud light or natty, but still there are so many better beers out there than coors light. You should expand your horizons a little and try a few more flavorful beers :)

Has anyone been drinking a seasonal brews? I mentioned a while back in this thread that I prefer the Blue Moon Winter Abbey Ale (formerly known as Full Moon) over the regular Blue Moon. It's been a while since I've had it, probably two winters ago, so I can't wait to get some.

Yeah, tumbler is a pretty tasty beer.

Also, I've had this photo on my phone for months, I thought it was funny. Figured this was a good place to post it. Not a rare beer at all, but when I saw the box in the cooler and noticed what it said on it, it made me smile.

Have any of yall ever been to Hop City in Atlanta?

I went there a couple of days ago and it blew my mind to see nearly two thousand different beers.

Everyone that worked there was great as well and you can tell any of them how you enjoy your coffee or tea and they will tell you the type of beer that you enjoy the most. I wished that I would have gone with the guy's recommendation, instead I picked out some disgusting mead type beer.

bad ass dident expect a beer thing on this site thats awesine

beer goes good on top of anything your doing that night,

Dogfish 120, that's a funny one for me. See I LOVE IPAs and really hoppy beers, the more the better. However, I bought a 120 once, and one time only. I was so excited to try it and when I got home and actually tried it, I've never been more disappointed by a beer before (especially with how hard they are to get). I felt like I was drinking syrup. It was so thick and sweet that I put it down and didn't finish my glass. Later I came back to it, took one more sip and actually poured out the other half of the bottle. Most expensive beer I've ever put down a sink. I love hoppy beers, but I like them to be very dry and bitter, I want the moisture sucked out of the back of my throat when I drink an IPA; I can't go for that whole thick and sweet thing. The dogfish 60 minute is one of my favorite beers, and the 90 is pretty good too, but I'm sad to say the 120 just isn't for me.

I can completely understand that.... The 60 min is actually the hoppiest of the 3 since it has less time continually hopped than the other two which makes for less sugar in the beer. I love dogfish heads 120 not because it's a traditional ipa by any sense of the word, but because even though its 18 abv it still drinks like a beer, sight carbonation, doesn't have super alcohol burn on the nose or in your mouth. For most people it's easy to drink, unlike some other high abv beers. Have you ever had brew dogs's sink the bismark? It's terrible and for THAT price tag its a sad thing. I still want to try their tactical nuclear penguin, but at $75 a bottle im a bit hesitant. Depending on where you live though I have a few suggestions for ipa's if you'd like....
