Whatever your sexuality? Bo and Luke never did anything for me, but Daisy Duke certainly did. And that must have been a very common reaction considering that torn off denim shorts are often referred to as Daisy Dukes even to this day.

All I remember of The Sweeney is the theme tune and my mate's dad constantly walking round going 'You're nicked!'. I do have a few fond memories of sitcoms from that era though, also due to his dad. Loved Are You Being Served?, Oh Dr Beeching (still know all the words), Hi de Hi and all that. Probably all terrible now, haven't watched any since except Are You Being Served? and obviously Fawlty Towers which somehow never gets old
