Ketamine Appreciation thread

IM injected K last night (don't worry used sterile stuff the whole time and it was from vials). It was fucking mint, lovely and smooth and no drip!! Felt like my brain was being ripped from my head by the music! All that on 100mg too, not like some of my 400mg+ lines!!

My friend has a vial and i will not do it after thats all gone... psychedelic smack comes to mind!!

I don't care what people say it is soooo adictive!

btw injection in muscle is easy, painless and all i have today is the feeling of a bit of a dead leg.

But yeah big thumbs up!
 
As long as you don't get to feeling that IM injection of anything is OK you should be OK. While IM isn't in the same league as IV, it still has a high addiction potential for some drugs (speaks as someone who's 3 month opiate habit, several years ago, was exclusively via IM route).

It doesn't piss about though when it comes to ketamine does it? You've got about 4 minutes from injection to leaving this world, all the time this machine like humming noise gets louder in your ears. Music takes on so much more significance as well

And as you said, no vile tasting drip!
 
I find the drip of ketamine to taste nice (well not nice but OK). I have aquired a taste for it. Maybe it's just the fact that I know im about to start K'ing! Oh how I love it!

I've only tried K a handful of times, last night was my first K-HOLE but I know what you mean about the drip.

It's got this almost 'evil-sherbet' quality to it and coupled with the fact that it takes like nothing else on earth=D , I think I kinda like it too!

Who liked beer, wine or whisky the first time they tried em eh? All we need for K, is a panel of professionals who can 'taste test' between Ketalar, Ketaset and Quantex (think I spelt the last one wrong there) et al.
 
People who like the taste of the drip are sick individuals (like normal people go around jabbing shapened metal tubes into themselves - I know!) - I'm sure it's the (taste of the) drip that's responsible for ketamine nausea as I exclusively IM ketamine and I've never had any nausea, even dosing after a big meal (a mexican food pig-out)
 
I love the smell/ taste of the ketamine drip! That vaguely sulferous other-worldly tang!

I used to thing that strange floral bouquet that comes from ketlar was a result of some part of the smuggling process, like a vague talcum scent. However Ive since cooked it from ketlar vials and it is just the distinctive scent of this brand! Perhaps its the benzium chloride or whatever the preservative is?

The other vetinary use ketamines tend to be more sulphuorus in their drip and less floral.

Either way the bouquet from Ketlar is by far my favourite. Mmm tingly goodness. I'm getting back into K in a big way. It makesd me so happy!

Although recently the day after using K I have noticed I get quite sick, but thats only past the 3 gram mark...8(

Actually you do get a certain slight smell and taste with IM ketamine, but so mild as to be hardly noticable unless you're looking for it (which you can't help after IMing it for a while)

PS the preservative is benzalkonium chloride

Meh, I've given up on K.

Last time I had some I decided to have 2 big lines due to a bad bad influence that thought it would be a good idea. Now I'm totally convinced that I have to have it with G or alcohol for it to do anything worth doing, as it's only when I've had a few drinks that I can have small amounts and it's nice. This time I had 2 big lines, and to be perfectly honest I thought it was a waste of time. Yes I felt a bit wonky, but apart from a little difficulty walking up and down stairs and some minor head holding I really wasn't all that wonky at all.

I'm sorry if that offends anyone, but if it means having to have a few drinks to get some decent effects then I can't be bothered anymore. The times it actually did something cool (few and far inbetween) it was ok, but generally it's not for me.
 
Sad to say, but the effects of IM use are so different from nasal (a true psychedelic via IM), but not everyone wants to have to fuck around with needles, aseptic technique etc.

Used nasally, it just seems like a recreational depressant type of drug - if that was all it did IM I'd be with the people saying it isn't that wonderful as well, but IM with either cannabis or a serotonogic hallucinogen it is simply gobsmacking...
 
Personally, I found IM injection of 100mg ketamine to be almost exactly the same experience as my usual 150-175mg nasal doses. The only difference being there is never a drip which can kind of almost distract me and take me out of the experience for a split-second at a time, every so often.

So I wouldn't say that snorting K is less of a psychedelic, I just think that with IM its much easier to hit the mark and stay there.
