Also Trigun, an oldie but a goodie.

I have Spirited Away the collectors editiion!!!!!

36.99 from HMV :D :D :D

Looks like it was released a little earlier than expected.

It also doesn't have the red tint problem either.

I recommend seeing the making of documentary as well - it's fab!

I just borrowed this from teh shop yesterday, and watched it this morning.. Its unreal !! Such a great movie to watch.

I dont think its the special ed... just flicked the dvd back on to check the specials.

I was really impressed with this though, real fun to watch

I forgot to mention in my previous post regarding Spirited Away - the red tint is there Nezo, you just can't notice it hehe

Madman were originally going to author the DVD off one of the original Japanese masters, but there was a balls up in the end that meant for the release date to be met, another avenue needed to be taken.

So why can't you notice it you say? Well the main reason is that they have used the French masters - of all available, the red tint was least noticable on this. Its very very slight and you have to be really anal to notice it - its only noticable when compared to the original.

Apparently the red tint will show up more if played through a pc than through your TV - I have no idea why??

But, having said all this - I didn't notice it until I seen screen shots comparing the both...

Has the last volume (6) of Berserk come out over there yet? I just finished watching it and was kinda left with a blank stare at the end.

hehehe yes there are many complaints about the ending of Beserk - it leaves you kinda hanging midway through a tense scene and you're left thinking what the fuck!?? :X

There was talk back when it was completed that there would be a second series, and rumours surface every year regarding this but nothing has come about. The story however does continue, but the only way you'll see it is to read the manga - and the manga is well worth a read.

Lain quote ;WARNING;Don't read if you want to wait until you see/hear the show.

The wired might actually be thought of as a highly advanced upper-reality of the real (world); in other words physical reality is nothing but an illusion; a hologram of the information that (but Ma) flows to us through the wired.

This is because the body; The activity of the brain is merely a physical phenomenon simply caused by synapses delivering electrical impulses.

The physical body only exists on a less evolved plane to only verify ones existence in the physical universe.

Lain Theme Tune (open to honest accuracy adjustment posts)

You don't seem to understand
Ashamed you seemed an honest man;..
And all the things you hold so dear;
Will turn to whisper in your ear..
And you know what they say
(If I /unto?)hurt you
And you ? what they mean so much
And you don't even feel a thiing
Ohweay, I am "bowling"??
I am fading
I have lost it all
Haaweuooo
Hauauauawooo
I am fading
I am doubting
how its to become
I am hurting
I have lost it all
I am losing
how meant to beee

It set to a nice tune;I've considered the thought of EJing it in an ambient room.

regards;
O

Might reedit this for corrections after I watch next episode.

^^^^

The song Duvet is sung by Boa - the opening only uses the first half of the song - full lyrics are...

And you don't seem to understand
A shame you seemed an honest man
And all the fears you hold so dear
Will turn to whisper in your ear
And you know what they say might hurt you
And you know that it means so much
And you don't even feel a thing

I am falling, I am fading,
I have lost it all

And you don't seem the lying kind
A shame that I can read your mind
And all the things that I read there
Candle-lit smile that we both share
And you know I don't mean to hurt you
But you know that it means so much
And you don't even feel a thing

I am falling, I am fading, I am drowning,
Help me to breathe

I am hurting, I have lost it all
I am losing

Help me to breathe

There is also a slower acoustic version and a breaky version =D

Good to see you're enjoying Lain oceanboy :)

Dunno if its new or old but I just saw Cowboy Bebop the movie.

I've only seen one episode of the series, where some food he got ages ago and was keeping in storage turned into some fungii thing... wasnt too impressed with that ep to be honest

But this movie is great! Go see it now :D

I love the Bebop series!! Granted it has a couple of filler episdoes, but these days alot of series do....

Spike is the coolest mofo in anime! =D

he can kick some serious ass :)

I've decided to start buying the Noir volumes when they come out.... but I really wanna start on the Cowboy series, but I doubt i can afford them both !! eeik...

what am i to do :|

Speaking of cool opening tracks, I really love the music for Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex...

The series is pretty good too ;)

And yeah, Bebop rocks... It was the first series I really got into...

Watching Lain atm... very cool freaky mind churning stuff... I think the best thing about it is that you can't just sit and watch... You're not spoonfed your entertainment as you are with so much else in audio visual entertainment... You actually have to think...

Oh yeah, hi hastey and all ;)

Flea': That's what broadband is for ;)

i loved the opening sequence in ghost in the shell when it shows the android body being created, and the accompanying sountrack.

cant wait to check out stand alone complex! =D
