That's awesome!! Congrats to you and your husband.

Again, thank you case face , that is my story exactly with the sub thing!!

I called in to work this morning. Right now I'm laying in my bed and it's 29 hours after my last shot and I just took a tiny little piece of a sub..I think I'm ok.. We shall see here shortly. I have no other medications. The field I work in is one where I could probably easily procure some, but if I never did that my whole time using, I'm not about to start now. I'm not tryna fuck up my career. So here we go!

awesome stardust!!!

And Delta you're doing great too!!! Keep it up!!!

bare in mind that you are feeling better already because you took suboxone - if you aren't planning on staying on the subs for maintenance, then you still need to be prepared for withdrawal. Perhaps with the sub you can stave off withdrawal until you have days off work, and get clean as well as keep your job? Would be ideal, I'm assuming. Anyway, keep it up!

259 Days today. :)

another 24 =D

alright see you all in a few days

Night NSA. Talk to ya in a few days! =D

another 24 indeed.

I've been switching up my meetings - I started to realize how awesome the difference in my life is since working the steps through AA. And then I thought, "why not start going to NA half the time instead of AA, and work the steps from that perspective? Then my life can get double awesome!!" haha. So wen't to NA the last 3 nights instead of AA. I know meetings aren't for everyone, but fuck am I grateful for the steps. Not to mention that my spirituality revolves around Buddhism, and the DALAI LAMA said in an interview that if he was forced for whatever reason to stop practicing Buddhism - his alternative would be to practice the 12 steps. %)

Off to read and pass out. I'm exhausted.

259 Days today. :)

I am planning on doing a short sub taper. I have done this in the past and it worked well. Usually I take the subs for a few days, and that is it. Yes I feel a little uncomfortable at the end but it's manageable. The subs just helps me get through the worst and takes the yanks off. I am actually going into work today. I feel 50 percent human. I am taking a very minimal amount of sub, so I still feel shitty but I think I will feel better if I try to do something instead of just laying in bed kicking the sheets. I am sitting here typing this is my work scrubs as we speak. Now I just need to muster the energy to do my hair and makeup. ughhhhhh. Little chores leave me winded! Walking down stairs for a bottle of water got me feeling like I just completed a triathlon. Hope you guys have a great day! Thanks for the support Case! <3 <3 <3

^You've got it in you, Mr.S. Remember that you're not alone, we're here for you. <3
