Yeah ok. I'll show you my current points.
i also just have a hard time envisioning any user who IVs once a day and snorts the rest of the day... for me (and it seems like most of us) it was like once I banged something any other ROA wasn't even considered anymore.

I actually started IVing heroin close to the time I quit, and the last doses I used were snorted. I didn't like the short duration of IV heroin compared to the 6-8+ hour duration of snorted powder.
If you're just shooting heroin and you have decent veins, you can avoid any really bad marks....A lot of the worst cases Ive seen were girls with tiny veins that were hard to find and hit....Some people really just don't have the veins to IV...but they do anyway... Collapsed veins can be very noticeable because it leaves an indented line going up your arm...
Tar H will ruin just about anyones veins, I couldn't imagine what your arms would look like after a good 5 years with that shit....
Also, shooting cocaine repeatedly will defnitely give you scars...I think thats where mine pretty much come from, a coupla IV coke runs will tear your arms up....
the less you have to poke yourself the better....I was saying on here a few weeks ago to use 28 guage syringes over 30 guages but I think I meant the other way around...I know theres one that I'd get by accident from the pharmacy that would piss me off...I think it was 28s....Not sure if 29 or 30 is the standard for 1cc insulin syringes...
its also surprising how tracks you think are "permanent" can fade over 6 months
but it still sucks to wear long sleeves in the summer lol

I have pale delicate skin, that may play a role.
You've got a crazy attitude, man- puttin people down for overdosing on two bags (which i've seen happen) or for not using anymore... You come off sounding like a real asshole who wants to brag about his habit. Good luck with your track marks.
Track marks are actually fairly preventable, if you do the following:
- Never ever re-use a syringe! Even if you're just having a hard time finding a vein, after a couple pokes if you haven't been able to register, squirt your dope into a fresh syringe. This causes way less damage and also makes hitting easier.
- Try to keep the number of times you poke yourself to a minimum. Don't fish around. If you're having trouble hitting ask me for some tips.
- Rotate your injection sites, do not just keep using the same place on the same vein over and over, as tempting as that is.
The above 3 are the most important things you should do to prevent track marks, and not just for cosmetic reasons but to avoid destroying your veins and no longer being able to inject in them. You should also do the following:
- Use as thin a needle as works for you.
- Don't use small delicate veins.
- Make sure your spoon/cooker/whatever is completely clean before use.
- Filter your dope with a clean filter. Ideally with a micron filter if possible.
- Use an alcohol swab to clean the site before injecting, let dry completely, then inject.
- After injecting, apply gentle pressure with a clean finger or cotton ball to the site. Keep the injection sites clean.
- Use products like antibiotic/healing ointment, scar gel, vitamin E oil, etc on the sites. I think it's best not to apply it immediately, but these products work much better if you begin to apply them within 24 hrs as opposed to trying to fade scars that are weeks or months old.
- Try not to inject as few times a day as possible.
- Stay well-hydrated.
^This. No, it's not okay to re use needles. It's not even so much a question of cleanliness, though that's a factor. After one use the tip of the needle becomes barbed. Tricomb always posts that horrifying picture of a needle up closes after one use, two uses, and six uses.
