Homosexuality like Heterosexuality is an ideology. It's something that anyone can be conditioned too. I and many other quote unquote "bi-sexuals" are living proof. Masculinity and femininity are social constructs. Many people "believe"(without a shred of scientific validation) that sexuality is determined by genes, that you're born with it, but consciousness itself is not exclusively the product of one's genetic makeup. Environment has direct influence on gene expression, and free will determines the response to whatever predispositions might be present. Hypothetically, let's say "homosexuality" is the product of a specific gene trait.(For the record, it's NOT) Could it not then be theorized that there is a specific gene trait that causes people to be born with an opposition to "homosexuality"? That would then put the entire homosexual community in a Catch 22. It would be completely hypocritical, irrational and illogical for the "homosexual community" to expect these people and society to "change". How can they change, if they too, like them, are "born that way"?


To say that one is born homosexual or heterosexual is the equivalent of saying that one is born evil or good. People aren't born evil, people aren't born good, these are social constructs. Constructs that anyone can be conditioned too.

I understand that right now, in today's society it is necessary for the "homosexual community" to carry and promote this "born this way" ideology. Granted, this meme has been a literal GODSEND to those that are in the homosexual community and has helped shape and change moral perceptions all over the world. It has also brought us one step closer to total equality. I however, view this "born this way" ideology as just a set temporary training wheels. As soon as society learns how to ride without them, we will be able to get rid of them.

So I ask you, what sexuality label would you put on those that are intersex? Or what sexuality label would you put on a male with xx chromosomes? How about someone with gender/sex identity issues?(My favorite paradox by the way;))

What about those that are/become celabte and asexual? Were they born that way, is there a specific gene trait that causes them to give up all sexual inclinations, or did they make a conscious decision and put forth conscious effort to become that way?

Please, let's just leave the sexuality labels for the kiddies.

I envision a future where sex/gender itself, will one day be a conscious choice/decision. If sex/gender becomes a choice, what then is sexuality?

Imagination is the limit.

for me no amount of money would erase the mental scars it would leave but that's just me. as for the gun thing I'd rather die fighting then live and be somebody's bitch.
