So they do choose IYO?
Well, I am both gay and young, and I honestly don't understand what you mean when you say that it is becoming a trend.discopupils said:sadly, being one of the younger bluelighters, I can assure you that it is becoming a "trend" to fake being gay or, far more often, bisexual. And its been going on for a while now. I would suggest its a way of "standing out". And a good way to make drama by stating everyone and everything around you is discriminating against and victimising you.
Now I'm actually gay and I obviously find this incredibly annoying, because my first proper boyfriend was one of these people, and seeing as it was my first "special" relationship with somebody I wanted it to be perfect. He got a girlfriend about 3 days after he finished me.
You can't really say, "Wait, if being gay is genetic and they don't reproduce, how come it's still in the population?" Well, it could hide recessively, and it may be advantageous for the society or social group for that recessive trait to hang out and produce a homo every now and then. If gayness protects the social group/clan, it'll be selected for,

It just shouldnt be an issue period.

You dated a bisexual (or confused, probably) guy and he dumped you for a girl. That is nothing new. My statement was about straight people pretending to be gay for some kind of perceived benefit.
in your mind how is being gay somehow not a choice but being bisexual somehow is?wArEhOuSePuNk said:no, but bi-sexuality is def. a choice.....
