• Guest, Welcome to FESTIVUS

In this season of giving I think it’s important to recognize the joy of getting.. what do you want this season?

Jack Daniels - Fire or Apple (I just cannot taste any different between Honey and the original, but it is just probably me.) but in the cute gift box or whatever it is called, where you get a cup with to the drink.

i've told my family that all i want as one combined gift is a ben and jerrry's ice cream cake. ben and jerry's is my areas best ice cream and the cakes are even better if anyone gets a chance to try them. every where probably has it's good ice cream though... i've gotten a cake every christmas for the past few years now. i even let my family members try a little piece. lots of cruncy stickiness in the ice cream.

This sounds extremely delicious :D Good for you, I'm jealous and want something sweet now.

My sister gifted me some session with this... idk psychic healer modern shaman or some shit. Some Edgar Cayce wannabe. It's virtual too, zoom call LOL

Should be interesting.

She told my sister she must have anger issues, because the psychic's pinky toe started tingling during the zoom call. :ROFLMAO:

Dude you have to record this. SO MANY fuck-withable possibilities.

Ahhhh yes indeed; I'm fortunate enough to live in an area with access to Ben & Jerry's and it really is phenomenal. I frustratingly have to say though that I didn't even know they made the cakes. That just shot straight to #1 for me to try asap.

It's B&J time since @foodcrisis had to bring it up...it's great stuff...

everything.
but because i can't get that, i don't want nothing.
seriously.
and i don't give anything, either, because i think this whole "giving" thing spoiled the magic of christmas which for me as a kid was more about anticipation than actually getting something.

I want a big-ass kettle I can boil a shit ton of potatoes in. And I am not even sure if I bother to ask for it because I can probably get second hand for max 10 euros.

Otherwise, IDGAF really.

My little sister had epilepsy and seizures are scary too watch.

My dad had a co worker whose oldest daughter had a massive seizure at 18 and killed her. She was near the end of high school and the perfect grades type and was going to go to a really good college, it was his oldest child. Dead, it was horrible for the guy, she was a child parents can be proud of.

Epilepsy, with one massive grand mal seizure, destroyed my sisters future, she lost so much of her highly gifted brain power and it ruined her.

Water pic, flannel sheets, tires,a strainer, good shoe inserts, ankle, back and wrist braces, new Clippers and blades, spendy towels, weighted blanket and ammo, Italian grey hound

Everything that's gone on this year, I'm extremely blessed to even be alive... I'm good, wouldn't want to get greedy. I dunno, oh, some new clothes and a little extra spending money would be nice. 😉

Yep, sounds like an excellent destination for today's walk later on, couple joints and a pint of B&J. 👍

I hope that is range ammo for a 357 magnum, little recoil, cheaper less harsh on a, just for the sake of speculation a 7 or better yet 8 shot non Taurus 357, but a Smith and Wesson or a Ruger revolver with at least a 4 inch barrel to be able to get the real power of a 357. I would suggest a 6 or 8 inch barrel or longer or a rare 7 inch limited production, for accuracy, power, and intimidation
factors).

A good revolver is great because it will not jam, no safety, easy to use. I would guess if not then a 5 shot S&W snub nose 38 special)? Easy for legal concealed carry and most gun battles only last 5 shots on average in America, anyways.

This isn't a very bad part of the world you live if and Probably American and despite what, self loathing American's who hate their own country I love America and all countries have issues, even the ones with a nice Shiney veneer.

Or better yet countries with one nice hospital, school, ect.. Too use as a show piece to gullible tourists and Foreign Dignitaries. Lol. Detroit is an open sewer but with many nice suburbs, especially past 15 mile or so. Then again 8 mile itself isn't too bad. 7 mile and below is like stepping into a nightmarish Twilight Zone episode.

Oh there are a few decent areas, neighborhoods, Casino areas, and that downtown area that the city pumps all it's limited resources into.

I do know this very well, even if I am in a suburb far enough away that a stick up or armed robbery would make the front page of a suburban newspaper, back when they had them. OK, they still do but at $2 or $3 for a 35 cent daily local newspaper, who will buy that? Maybe if the Sunday Detroit Free press still had great coupons? Internet saved trees, killed journalists careers or altered them to the 21st century.

I digress, but a 38 will do and not jam. Reloads even with a 'speed loader' or half or full moon cartridge clips are still slow. A 38 has less powerful than a small 3 inch or so barreled Glock 26 ( use to but, might be still used by the Secret Service as back up and holds 10 round Mags, but trust me 17 or 33 rounders fit the same. 50 round drums look and feel stupid.

A Sig Sauer 365 now with 12 or better yet 15 round factory mags fits the hand better and is easier to conceal. Yeah, they make a 10 shot version. However, the Glock is heavier for the recoil but, the Sig is better to hold and conceal( if legally of course, aka carry permit) with 15 shot factory mags really fits the hand nicely, slim, fast reloads and nice looking, more powerful, 3x the shots.

A revolver is a great first line weapon, due reliability and ease of use. If it can use 38+P ammo it is still less than a 9mm in terms of power( despite larger casings, what is that about, why are their few 9mm revolvers) only need 3 inches of barrel?

A larger framed non Taurus revolver with 7 or 8 shot cylinder in 357 looks like a 44 magnum especially with a 6 inch or longer barrel. I would much rather scare someone away, then shoot them.

A shotgun or a good semi automatic rifle with 30 or better yet 40 rounders will really due that and if need be a semi automatic with 7.62x39 Soviet or better 7.62x51 Nato will shoot through walls better than a 5.56 x45 Nato round, but they are lighter for more mags in combat( military or Detroit). Lol.

But, good guns( cheap as in quality, is no good) especially with semi automatics and they need the right bullet( aka the actual projectile, not the casing that is a given) 4 or 5 inch 357 are easier to maneuver but lack a little in a scare factor and of course accuracy.

Sorry, I just for some reason know these things, and no I am not a nut, others here will disagree but I just know. 🙂
Yeah it is a snub nose, its the only gun I own that is fully loaded plus one extra bullet,so I want more.We have more weapons, but my favourite is my king rat cobra sling shot and our hickory creek crossbow, part of my bug out supplies, nice and light
